Spring forward with this refreshing seasonal ale. Notes of toasted malt up front with a bright and crisp Northwest hop finish. It’s a session beer that everyone can enjoy.

Floral hops are strong in the nose. Slightly hazy golden-copper body is topped by a generous, fine bubbled, white head that lasts throughout and coats the glass with lace. Deliciously malty toasty flavour with a nice complement of floral and spicy hops and fairly pronounced bitterness in the backend. Medium body with wonderful fine bubbled effervescence. Enjoyed on tap at Portland Craft.

Bottle into IPA glass. Pours a deep golden colour with a finger of white head. Aroma is floral hops with a little toasted malt. Taste is about the same. Really nice beer.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy white head and lacing. The aroma has some grass and pine notes with a similar flavor that leads to a slightly sweet finish over a medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The Sampler, Brooklyn bottle: pours gold witha white head. Aroma is pine and some fruitiness. Taste is lightly bitter. Easy drinking. Pretty standard. Bitter aftertaste. Not blown away.

Served on tap at Linda's. Yellow gold color. Mostly clear. Light hippy aroma but not much there. Carbonated medium light body with a fizzy ending. Mild mix of hops and citrus with a weak hops ending. Nothing special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle (22oz $5): Golden with 2 finger white soapy head. Toasted malts was the first thing I tasted. Bitterness in the end was more than expected. Piney.

Rushed for time. Think Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Now imagine that beer being crisper, sharper, cleaner, and more refreshing. My favorite Ninkasi so far.

22 oz bottle was gift from Margaret, many thanks. Pours a clear bright orange golden color with white fading head. Aroma is mild citrusy good and toasted malt with a touch of oxidation. Flavor is same with light mandarin orange citrus sweetness, followed by a slightly iron rust finish. Would have been nice to try fresh.

Clear, bright, golden, orange, sunset body with a half inch of pure white head. Aromas of ripe citrus, cleaning solution. Harsh with chemical notes. Sweet malt with too present alcohol. Candy melon sweetness. No sir.

Bomber at home. Pours a fairly hazy bright yellow, with a rapidly disappearing head and good adhesion. Herbal aroma, not too strong. Taste is pleasant, a little chewier than other hoppy pale ales -- they didn’t cheapen on the grain bill -- it’s a little stronger than most "session" pale ales, but that’s okay by me. Good palate, thicker than most, with long grassy aftertaste. Recommended.
