Pour was a nice medium gold with a one finger off white head. Taste was a little thin with piney hops dominating and just a hint of caramel malt. Medium carbonation makes this beer, good but not anything to write home about. darbish (81), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Smells grapefruity and a little like an orange. Smells very crisp as well. Cloudy pour. Tastes sweet and is quite astringent. Ends with a kind of woodsy, grassy flavor. Im pleased. fredandboboflo (1404), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of grapefruit, other citrus, perfumy hops. Flavor adds toasted/bready malt to the equation, as well as an earthy yeastiness that I didn’t find did wonders for the mouthfeel of an IPA. Still, pretty nice. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of grassy hops and grapefruit. Flavor is more citrusy with some grapefruit in the background. Nice IPA, nothing terribly exciting though. jsquire (2100), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Clear golden amber color out of the bottle with a sticky white head. Grapefruit juice, orange peel and hairspray in the nose. Really nice hop head beer, with lots of grapefruit, tangerine, and lemongrass notes. Bready malt backbone underneath it all with a long grapefruit rind finish. Enjoyable IPA. WeeHeavySD (2963), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Nose is sweet and citrussy. Taste is very strange, its very bitter, but actually sweet, I get grapefruit, and a sour pucker from it. All in all this is a really interesting, grapefruit IPA. riversideAK (2715), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 28, 2008 Hazy golden orange with a nice lasting thin head and sticky lacing. Aroma is somewhat malty with hints of caramel and pale malts. Hops are earthy, floral, and herbal. Toasty malt flavors followed by a nice piney herbal hops. Not overly bitter, but more balanced and very drinkable. KAggie97 (2427), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Bottle from PC Market of Choice, Eugene, OR, on the advice of a nice yuppie/hippie couple that loved that I am from Texas and was visiting Oregon. Thanks, granola hippie couple! Pours a nice cheddar yellow with a sharp block of grapefruit cheddar cheese in the nose. Flavor is subdued sweet, melted cheese flower hops. Average mouthfeel. Intersting flavors, but very tasty.
