Timfoolery and I picked up this bottle in Oregon on a camping trip and were very impressed by this brew. Had a perfect amount of hop flavor with the malt to give it a great backbone. Wish I had brought home a few more bottles. timfoolery (484), California, USA

I had never heard of this brand, but it impressed the hell out of me this Summer. One of my favorite brands from Oregon now, TD IPA shows a complex side with a malt backbone and a citrus/partial pine hop. Great balance. Related in flavor to their Tricerahops (which has a flavor cousin named Dreadnaught), the TD is pure, drinkable joy. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 29, 2008 Amber with small head and fair lacings. Floral piney hop nose. Taste is piney grapefruit hops and the malts lend a touch of pineapple that gives this a unique flavor. A very nice IPA as the hops are plentiful but not overwhelming. Nice long bitter-sweet finish. Will be seeing more of this beauty. snowborder911 (3), , Oregon, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Very clear dark amber color. Didnt think it was an IPA at first glance. Great hop flavor. Best finish of an IPA I’ve ever had. Love this beer ratman197 (3191), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Aromas of earthiness, carmel, pine and light passionfruit. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Bottle: Pours a hazy amber color, nice white head and great lacing. The nose is grassy and fragrant, plenty of pine and orange in the nose. Ample caramel notes with a nice malty body never taking the focus off of the hops. Not bitter in the tail, more balanced towards the piney dry hops. Balanced and yummy. A little citronella note in the tail, which isn’t my favorite as far as hop notes. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 8, 2008 650 ml bottle. Hazy amber body with a firm off/white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grassy/floral hops and grapefruit. Flavor is sweet malty and quite bitter with grapefruit. Bitter finish. Relativly straight forward, no nonsense double IPA, but well made. Refreshing. fakepurseninja (777), Washington, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Aug 4, 2008 Cloudy straw body with a big, soft white head. Smooth biscuity malt backbone with a very nice, rich, deep floral hop character. Just a touch of the great IPA mainstays; grapefruit, pine, grass etc... which are very well balanced by the rich malt base.
