Total Domination IPA has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, and big hop flavor balanced with a richness imparted by Carahell and Munich malts. This beer is a big flavorful Northwest IPA that maintains its drinkability, and as such, has garnered great admiration from the novice craft drinker and the seasoned hop-head alike.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, slowly diminishing, ivory head, with heavy lacing, over a clear light amber (SRM 9) body......nose is light pine, hints of citrus peel, light cereal malts, balance to the hops......taste is slightly floral sweet to start, becoming bitter, with heavy pine, resin, grapefruit peel dominating, balance to the hops, no esters.....mouth feel, medium body, slight alcohol warmth, moderate astringency, lively carbonation with creaminess. This is an old style American IPA. It is heavily American hop dominated, with a malt backbone that barely balances the hop bitterness. It is today, rather trite. It is a nice beer, but there are a myriad of similar ones out there, and many better. BJCP 7/3/14/4/7

It’s good just not great. I would have liked a little more aroma in the nose. Taste is grassy, resin, and pine with some faint malt that is hidden by a bright bitterness. It’s pretty bitter for a single, but I just wanted more flavor from the hops...

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild peachy and slight citrusy. Smooth fruity, peachy. Crisp hoppy. Lingering fruity and smooth peachy finish, mild citrusy too. Ends bitter and crisp hoppy.

12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear deep golden with a fair off-white head. Aroma: Quite sweet, floral/perfumed/dusty, caramel malt, a little citrus/pine, slightly boozy. Palate: Medium+ body, medium-ish carbonation, a bit slick/syrupy. Flav.: Sweet, perfumed, a little tropical fruit, citrus, floral, melanoidin maltiness, a bit of pine/resin; sweet with good bitterness and a dusty, floral, citrus peel finish, bitterness lingers.

Doesn’t dominate the category, IMO.

660ml brown bottle. Gold with fine haze. Tight bubbled creamy white head sits low on top. Lacing is heavy. Aromas are of orange peel and sweet fruit. Taste has orange peels and fruits, malty backbone. Moderate bitterness, light hoppy aftertaste with some malts. Pretty good.

Growler filled at Bellport Cold Beer & Soda and consumed later the same day. Pours a mostly clear warm gold with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left light lace. Very pleasant aroma of orange and grapefruit along with ample pine. The flavor is malt followed by a wash of moderate-strong, mostly flavorless, hops bitterness. A bit overly harsh for my taste. Lingering bitterness at the back of the throat well-beyond the swallow. Medium bodied.

A really solid IPA with a heavy malt on the palate. Pours a dark, sparkly orange with a frothy off white head. The nose is hopped up well with bright floral and citrus hops as well as light pine notes and caramel malts. A bit sweet in the middle with a burst of citrus fruits and pine hop notes that linger through to the finish. A bit of resin and a dry astringent finish that hits well. Overall, a good brew.
