| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Bomber shared at PPRBSG. Pours a light gold- hazy with a nice tight white head. Aroma is crackery malt a tad old- some papery oxidation with green and herbal hops, slight spice, dough and apple skin. Flavor is also oxidized and the malt is turning slight astringent- dried crackers, cobwebby- grassy and light citrus orange hops with slight aging cheese and stale mint leaves. Meh. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 23, 2009 IBGF 2009: Deep golden and orangy hue with very good head and lace. The aroma has notes of resiny, grassy and a bit catty vapours, some apricot and mango esters, bready malts and a hint of minerals. The taste is acidic fruits, resiny piney hops with the malt a background player. Dry and chalky finish. The mouth feel is chewy and moderately aggressive, the is a bit of a put off. Not bad but honestly expected more. drpimento (817), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 22, 2009 Got this bottle at Sam’s in Chicago about 6 weeks ago. Having this one after the Tricerahops and it’s not nearly as good. This poured with a white small head and no lace. Clear amber color. Hoppy malty nose. Flavor is pretty straightforward and similar to the aroma. Body is kind of watery. Finish is ok, nothing special. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA
