Charlie's redondo beach...tap. Pours dark gold color, clear. Little bubbly head. Aroma not overly floral, hoppy. First sip the hops hit you, bitter, but aftertaste fades. Nice palate, gets better as you drink it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear, classic golden color with a large, well-retaining beige-white head. Lemon zest nose with some mild earthy notes. Mostly wet and mildly scrubbing mouthfeel. The flavor is an accentuated example of the bouquet. The lemon and mild earthiness blend very well. There’s a mildly sweet taste that emerges in the middle, with a grapefruit bitterness taste (not flavor) dominating at the finish. This is very good!

This IPA is gill deep in hops, but the artistry and complexity is null. Total Domination feels like it needs another few whacks in the batting cages before it hits the bottle line, despite it being the flagship beer of Ninkasi. Flavors remind me of the chalky, medicinal, and clumsy IPA from Manzanita Brewing Company.

Bottle from a variety pack. Great IPA, Poured a nice golden color with a white head. Just the right finish without a huge hoppy back end. I need to try this on tap!

Bottle from City Beer, San Fransisco. Clear orange pour, thin just off-white head. Aroma is fruity and quite spicy with a decent amount of hops. Slightly sharp and with some strange herbs, but refreshing and slightly different than most IPA’s. Flavor is bitter, clean and spicy hops with some resin and pine. Slightly messy though.

Sweet aroma and a overall bitter taste that I felt was too sharp for me to enjoy. If you like that? Have at ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Clear orange appearance, sweet orange juice and citrus hop aroma, pretty bitter with a grapefruit hoppy taste. Good by very harsh bitter which is accentuated by being well carbonated.

12 FL oz bottle from a shop in San Francisco in US. Medium orange body with a large off-white head. Malty nose. A lots of malts in the taste, a little sweet. Very bitter finish. **

Bottle purchased from Bring On The Beer. A- pours a clear bright 24k gold with a 2 finger head of foam, does well with the lacing. S- strong piney nose mixed with that;s almost like a floor wax aroma. I can tell this is going to be bitter but in a good way or a bad way? T- very piney bitter on first sip with no sign of any balancing malt. The more I sip, the more the pine off shoots to an aspirin bitterness. Again, no sign of any malt and that could have been a saving grace. Long lasting, on the nasty side, bitterness ensues. Oh my. M- good body and carbonation so no complaints there. O- Not at all an IPA that suits my fancy. Bitter for bitter’s sake? Me thinks so. No.
