Flagship Series. Total Domination IPA has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, and big hop flavor balanced with a richness imparted by Carahell and Munich malts. This beer is a big flavorful Northwest IPA that maintains its drinkability, and as such, has garnered great admiration from the novice craft drinker and the seasoned hop-head alike.

Bomber poured into English pint. Grapefruit citrusy and pine in the nose; floral, too. Classic. Pours a beautiful deep gold hue with a gigantic rocky head with excellent retention. Leaves some cool lacework. Taste is sweet at first then turns bitter; finishes alcoholic. Some orange marmalade on toast in the flavor here. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium. Overall, a nice tasty IPA, but not among the best.

Draught at Elephant & Castle, Seattle, WA, USA.
Clear deep golden colour with small to average white head. Fruity mildly sweet bitter hoppy aroma. Delicious. Malty body. Liquorice, fruits, bitter hops in flavour. Balanced. Loooong-lasting bitter aftertaste.

Pours a deep, cloudy orange with a finger’s worth of head that settles to a coating. A healthy amount of lacing is present and lasting. Nose is dominated by the hops - citrus (especially grapefruit) and pine, but there is some sweet malt in there as well. Taste starts with grapefruit and oranges, gets sweeter with some caramel malt and finishes dry and with some lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, a little resinous but creamy. This is pretty nicely balanced but bitter and dry wins out in the aftertaste. Total Domination is a decent and refreshing IPA that hopheads should definitely try.

22oz bomber into pint glass. Pours a golden orange with small white head. Aroma of caramel malts and a hint of hops on the nose. Moderate mouth feel with high carbonation. Taste mostly of malts and some hops. For the price not bad however not a superb beer.

Bottle @ BCTC 2010. Gold, white head. Nose is piney, caramel maltiness, a floral spring field, some grapefruit. Flavor is slightly tart malt, pine, strongly bitter. Lingering pine & malt finish.

22 oz bomber gifted by Sudsy Maggie. Cloudy orange pour with a nice fluffy white head. Beautiful lacing Floral and slightly piney hops aroma. Sharp, hoppy bite with more of the floral and piney notes. Not much in the way of a malty balance. Finish has more of the sharp hoppy bite.

Bottle. Pours with a hazy golden body and a good sized white head. Aroma of grapefruit, grass, melon, and some caramel. Extremely faint hint of being lightstruck, which is odd, because I bought it from a store (a BevMo) that has been open for less than 3 weeks. Taste is dry, grainy, and sharply bitter pine. A lot more bitter than it is aromatic. Astringently bitter. Lively bubbles and dry. Not a real pleasant IPA to be perfectly honest.

Amber, decent fluffy white head, aroma of standard NW citrus hops, some floral and pine. Flavor is as expected. This is a well crafted if not imaginary IPA, we drink this at lunch a couple times a month and I’m always happy to have it.

Hits all the right IPA notes. Hoppy aroma, deep golden-orange appearance. Strong bitter beginning and a bitter finish with a bit of maltyness. Good IPA, but doesn’t necessarily stand out in a sea of other very good IPA’s.

A nice hearty IPA very hoppy. A little heavy on the caramel malts for me. but not bad. I prefer it to the Ninkasi Tricerihops. It has all the hops and less malt.
