COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Total Domination IPA has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, and big hop flavor balanced with a richness imparted by Carahell and Munich malts. This beer is a big flavorful Northwest IPA that maintains its drinkability, and as such, has garnered great admiration from the novice craft drinker and the seasoned hop-head alike.

Tasted 02/09/2009. 22oz bottle, a special piece of luggage on my post-BrewNZ holiday to Marcoola, QLD, AUS. Hazy gold, lingering head. Great pale malt character carries a lovely hop flavour of grapefruit and lemon. Awesome lingering bitterness that begs you for another sip but never overwhelms. This beer does indeed dominate the palate, making it one of the few IPAs that lives up to its name.

draft in Seattle. Nice hop-oriented brew, not brutally bitter but enough so itís not sweet. Pale malt background and no alcohol heat, grassy hops and mostly dry finish.

Very hoppy. The name reminds me of Stoneís Ruination IPA. They both try to be as hoppy as possible. The appearance is cloudy and light.

22oz bottle from Liquid Solutions. Pours a beautiful medium orange color with a fluffy off white head that left great lacing. Nose held some resin, Nose did not stay as potent after 5 minutes as it did at first, faint citrus and some herbal notes. Picked up much more in the flavor, lots of citrus and a low-medium level of malt balance. Finished with quite assertive hop bitterness.

Indy Brewers Fest 2009 - Hopapalooza - Aroma of fruity hops and caramel malt. Flavor of citrus (orange, mango) fruit hops and malt. Not bad

From Brewsters Deli, in Pt Roberts WA. My first Ninkasi. Poured a rocky white head above a hazy coppery-orange body. Aroma was strongly hopped and wasnít the taste just the same. Solid mouth and argeeable finish.

My Bottom Line:
Sweet cereals provide a portly body for this effervescent India Pale Ale, while peppery, resinous hop flavors and bitterness establish residence on the back of the tongue.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam skirts the cloudy orangey blend.
-This is not too aromatic for an IPA with such a name.
-The hops are also citrusy, but overly so.
-That hop bitterness is quite lengthy.

Bottle.

Draft. Pours cloudy golden amber in color with white head. Aroma mild citrus hops and sweet malt. Taste citrus hops and malt very well balanced with bitter finish.

Itís like marmalade in a glass. Very quaffable, and more English style IPA than American to me.

22oz bottle. Opaque orange pour with a medium white head. Sweet malt aroma with some orangy and piney hops. A bit of honey sweetness up front with lots of orange hop character before a balanced bittersweet finish. Very good.
