Flagship Series. Total Domination IPA has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, and big hop flavor balanced with a richness imparted by Carahell and Munich malts. This beer is a big flavorful Northwest IPA that maintains its drinkability, and as such, has garnered great admiration from the novice craft drinker and the seasoned hop-head alike.

This is one of my favorite IPAs. This is so smooth and easy-drinking, but it is still bursting with juicy hop flavor. Have only tried it on bottle, but I’d like to try it on tap.

Pours a cloudy amber color with a white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, pine, and caramel. Flavor is much the same-grapefruit, caramel, pine, and hops bitterness. Overall, a very nice beer.

Tasted on 5/19/11 from a 650mL bomber bottle purchased at BevMo Tempe. Pours clear, bright orange with an average white head that slowly recedes to a thin but even collar of lace. The nose is lemon and grapefruit citrus along with some grass and hay malt and some bitter resin. The name of this beer is a bit ridiculous given how balanced it is. The flavor is bitter lemon and grapefruit along with the lighter flavors of hay and grassy malt and bitter resin. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long bitter resin, grapefruit, and hay finish.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a nice, frothy head. Thick citrus aroma with some grapefruit and some major hops action. Dry, tart flavor. Thick hops with some tart grapefruit action. Decent IPA. Great balance as well.

Draft at the Grand in Bellingham, WA. Clear, light amber with little head. Moderate hoppiness throughout. Good with a burger over lunch but not really all that memorable.

Bottle courtesy of schmoopsbeer. Served in a wine glass. Pours a dark peach color and is slightly transparent. There is a white head that lasts for a bit and leaves some spotty lacing. The nose is light with just a bit of citrus hops and some light caramel. There is a bit of booze and bread in the background. The flavor brings mostly malt followed by some citrus hops and a slight amount of dry bitterness in the finish along with a surprising amount of alcohol given the ABV. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad, but not all that good either. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-09-2011

12oz bottle from HuskyinPDX. Pours a clear golden amber with a sticky beige head that shows fantastic lacing and retention. Gorgeous beer. Light floral hops dominate the nose with lemongrass and faint pine notes with a bready malt sweetness underneath. Little bit of lit citrus but this is certainly not a juicy citrus beer in the nose. Taste is even better than the aroma with a sticky resinous hop blast up front with some spiciness mixed in. The backbone is biscuity malts but they’re not meant to detract from the floral hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and well carbonated though maybe a tad thin. Really nice floral-dominant IPA that doesn’t scorch the palate with bitterness but still has plenty of hop flavors.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2015 Bright orange with a slight haze, generous head and moderate lace. Modest citrus hops aromas, mostly orange peel. Gentle hops bitterness up front offset by a subtle caramel malt sweetness. Medium body, creamy smooth mouthfeel and a nice crisp finish.
