COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Total Domination IPA has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, and big hop flavor balanced with a richness imparted by Carahell and Munich malts. This beer is a big flavorful Northwest IPA that maintains its drinkability, and as such, has garnered great admiration from the novice craft drinker and the seasoned hop-head alike.

22 oz bottle purchased at Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington. Pour is a hazed orange golden with nice settling building up a one inch off white head. Head leaves behind some streaky lacing. A bunch of fine carbonation bubbles are visible. Aroma of bright resin and mild pine hops along with a toasty maltiness. There is also a caraway seed aspect. Fresh and balanced nose. Taste is the nose, straw resin and pine hops up front, toasty bready malts in the middle with more of the resin bitterness to the finish. Palate is medium to thin, with a nice dry resinous finish. Clean and easy to drink.

Sweet pine and some warm alcohol on the nose (served warmer). reas golden with a good pillow like crisp white head. very sweet malts up front. Almost caramello chocolate sort of sickly sweet. Lovely pine and herbal dominated hop flavours. Well balanced and interesting when fresh Iím sure but probably showing itís age but held up reasonably well, nonetheless

22oz Bottle Hazy orange golden color with just a small skin. Light fruity citrus aroma. Peaches actually, I think. Lots of IBUs in the flavor, but just enough bitter resinous hop flavor comes through to make it interesting. Fades to more piney and astringent and trails off as a classic sharp bite. Not overdone though and in your face enough to be noticed. Modest to slightly heavy and malty. A bit more atenuation would I think show off the hops a bit better. Not bad.

Pale amber with a big fluffy head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine. Flavor is nice and hoppy with pleasantly bitter finish. Glass left with some pretty lacing.

2009 Bottle - Pours a hazy orange with a small off white head...aroma is terrific, floral hops, grain, grapefruit and dry caramel malt...flavour is similar, fruity and floral right off the bat, piney around the edges...this is lacking a bit of the bitterness I was expecting from the nose, otherwise pretty nice taste...with a bit more hop presence in the mouth, this would be terrific...

In short: A sweet IPA with a not-so-dominating floral and fruity hopping. Kind of boring.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed fresh soon after purchase on the west-coast. Tasting session with Montreal crew.
The look: Cloudy blonde-orange body topped by a very small white head
In long: Floral perfumy nose with soapy notes. Boring crakers-like maltiness with a lot of sweetness. Floral and fruity hops lack assertiveness. Some minerals. A short fruity bitterness but not enough to push the sweetness away. I might just be me because I think I was the only one who really didnít care for this beer at our tasting. Total Deception IPA.

Light IPA that is easy on the palate. The hops hit middle to back with a smooth finish.

Amber colored. Aroma is typical PNW with grapefruit, citrus, pine. Crystal and caramel malt backing, medium bodied, quite drinkable. Nice example, pretty fruity.
