Half finger of head. Copper colored body. Strong smell of pine, nothing else. One trick here. Medium bitter taste at first, moved to mild malt without the sweetness. Nice, simple and good. Crisp texture, medium body and lower carbonation. A solid IPA with a pine taste and smell.

Bottle at the hotel room in San Diego. Clear golden beer with a rich lasting offwhite head. Bready hop flavor, grassy, biscuits, vanilla, some citrus. Bready hop flavor, grassy, pine, biscuits, some bready notes, some caramel. An IP that feels a bit tired...

Bottle via trade. Skulled at home. Light amber pour with a modest white head. Floral herbs on the nose. A bit of lemon. Clear caramel and a bit of bread. Pale malt and a bit or caramel flavors are evident. Light citrus and spring grass hoppiness. Mellow and fairly straightforward. Lemon peel on the lightly bitter finish. Light, nimble. Soft carbonation. OK stuff.

Serving: from tap at Kayak Bar & Grill. Aroma: light pine hop. Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white, initial head with very good lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Hazy, dark-yellow body. Taste: moderately bitter, grapefruit initial flavor and finish with long duration. Palate: medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: excellent. Great flavor without being overly bitter.

HIGHB4LL (277) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 26, 2014
Bomber form Bevmo in LA. Appearance: two fingers of white head, good lacing, straw yellow, medium cloudiness. Aroma: very citrus grapefruity, slight yeasty leaves, pretty heavy caramel. Palate: light body, average carbonation, sticky texture, bitter finish that lasts. Taste: Sweet start, right into great bitterness. Very well balanced, hoppiness is huge but not palate wreckingly so.

Bottle. Poured modest head but good lacing. Slight hazy orange/copper color. I would like a stronger hops flowery aroma for IPA on sniff. Got more in mouth. Modest to strong bitter. Nice creamy body.
