Pours a dark gold color with a medium white head with good lacing. Smells of pine, grapefruit, and toffee. Tastes of all the same things I mentioned in the smell notes. Mouthfeel is average for an ipa. Nothing special for a northwest style ipa in my opinion just another overrated offering from ninkasi.

Pours dark orange with a quickly fading head. Aroma is the one thing that holds this beer back, just not very strong a little bit of sweet malt and thats it (dry hop would help a ton). Palate is banana esters and sweet malt followed with the very smooth transition to the bitter hops and a grapefuit finish overall great IPA

Good beer nice flavor. I like nikasi and this works well with a heavy feel but Yummy.

The aroma is rather lovely smelling of grassy fields and flowers. The palate was completely lacking for me. There was very little carbonation despite the head holding for a while and the mouth feel was just like water. There is a slight flavor of mango at the beginning but that gets completely lost in the blind bitterness later. The bitter flavor is piney and resiny. The beer does look great in a glass being a nice shade of light amber with a slight haze and the head created a fine lace and gave over lots of aroma.

Draft. Golden body with a fizzy, white head, mostly lasting. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, orange, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Starts sweet with flavors of grapefruit juice, mango, orange. Bitterness, which lingers long into the finish, pretty much tramples the flavors.

On tap at library square public house. Pours honey gold and slightly hazy. Decent off white head. Fades to leave excellent lacing. Minor carbonation, might be the tap. Slight bouquet of grassy hops. A great first sip. Starts off with a unique sweetness and finishes slightly bitter. Lingers well on the palate. Hints of caramel and pine. It’s a hard to describe flavour, albeit tasty. Would have it again.

Tried this bomber out when I was in Seattle for a Vikings game. Fairly average for and IPA, but still had the aromas and bitterness you look for.

Growler. Slightly hazy amber with a small spotty white head. Aroma is citrus, floral and tropical hops with some light caramel malt. Flavor is balanced with bitter hops and sweet malt, light alcohol bite. Medium body with a dry, bitter finish. Solid IPA.

Orange with a white head. The aroma is very heavy on the grapefruit. The flavor is more of the same. I get a ton of bitter grapefruit and biscuit malt, as well as some light orange and pine notes. Good amount of hop bitterness and hop flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice.

Drinking from a red solo cup due too kitchen remodeling. First really good ipa in a while. Aroma was nicely citrus hops. Flavor was similar with a good bitterness. The abv got me quickly. Very tasty ipa.
