Medium body with creamy carbonation. Lush. Roasted malt at least balanced by pine and citrus hop. Finish is a bit of mouth tingle, and is pretty dry and decently bitter. A really good IPA. The aroma has notes of resiny, grassy and a bit catty vapours, some apricot and mango esters, bready malts and a hint of minerals. The taste is acidic fruits, resiny piney hops with the malt a background player. Dry and chalky finish. The mouth feel is chewy and moderately aggressive, the is a bit of a put off. Not bad but honestly expected more. Skyview (4128), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Picked up a 22-oz bomber from Liquidsolutions.biz in Oregon. Pours a semi-clear golden straw brew with an average size off-white head that slowly dissipates to a fine film and some thick white ring. Aroma of dry citrus zest, a touch of grapefruit, mild multi-grain malt, that a touch of pine and apricots. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of dry grapefruit zest, milt bitter hop character with a touch of apricots. Finish is light texture with plenty of mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Ughsmash (4105), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2009 Bomber. Poured relatively clear medium golden with a short, sticky cap of white head. The aroma picked up juicy grapefruit and pineappley notes upfront with some spicy pine over softer pale and caramel malts.. solid character, but at a good, not great level. The flavor had pale and a little bit of honey malts on the back (sweet maltage overall).. bitterness was moderate-to-high in the form of grapefruit and floral character.. decently-balanced on the finish with spicy, fragrant bitterness and very sweet malts. Medium-ish bodied and sweet on the palate.. very drinkable.. lacking something, though. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 18, 2006 Tasted on tap at Concordia Ale House. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of citrusy hops. Medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and floral. Mildly bitter IPA. More in the English Style than a PNW IPA, but it still has that lingering hop presence. Kind of that tongue coating, lingering at the back of your throat presence. Very well balanced. Nice carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Rciesla (3915), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Light aroma of grapefruit. Taste is somewhat grainy. The hop hit is definitely piney. A solid regular IPA. Dickinsonbeer (3604), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Bomber shared at PPRBSG. Pours a light gold- hazy with a nice tight white head. Aroma is crackery malt a tad old- some papery oxidation with green and herbal hops, slight spice, dough and apple skin. Flavor is also oxidized and the malt is turning slight astringent- dried crackers, cobwebby- grassy and light citrus orange hops with slight aging cheese and stale mint leaves. Meh.
