3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. The head is a heavenly pillow of clean, white, creamy bubbles. The color is a cloudy vibrant orange. The nose opens aromas of orange peel and blossoming floral. The flavor comes off a little biscuity with a citrus kick in the middle. The finish is a sappy pine that is long and dry.

2.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
12-ounce bottles in a pint glass. Why do I keep trying out IPAs when I donít like them? Maybe because it seems like thatís all most craft breweries make. Also, sometimes I am pleasantly surprised. In this case, its not my favorite, but it is a little less bitter than most in its style I have tried. Great aroma typical of an IPA, good alcohol content.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Visual: Part of a 4-pack, mixed bombers. Pours translucent golden orange with a tiny head, a bit of lacing, loose clusters of active streams.
Nose: toasty toffee citrusy hopped malts. (lvl-7)-pungency
Attack: light slick/thicker viscosity, smooth-crisp entry
Mid-palate: slightly creamy, (lvl-6-sweetness), citrusy-biscuity-resin, toffee barley malt
Finish: med sharp bitter hops, lingering malts, mellow clean finish.
Summary: Smooth and well-bodied IPA with all around pleasant balanced flavours. IPAs of this caliber make me a fan of the style. Delicious creamy mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
July 21st, 2014 - Ninkasiís Total Domination is a well received brew down here in San Diego, where its robust IBU and hop forward flavor jive with our lupulin-centric culture. More orange than amber, itís a bright beer, bristling with energy, and delivering a sweet aroma. Pine resin, freshly cut wood, graham crackers and peach esters take me back to picnics in Pacific Northwest woods. The palate is flatter, but the beer has been sitting out for an unusually long amount of time. Each sip delivers a low, sweet, smooth IPA taste, pushing more pine with each intake, and the vapors expressing more of their heavy hop accent. The long aftertaste cuts off the hop bitterness and emphasizes the sweet pine syrup, cooling it with a deeper molasses sugar, and a touch of spice. P.S. Enjoyed on an airplane flight to Monterey, so atmospheric effects might warp tasting notes.
