Aroma of citrus, grass, herbs and caramel. Taste is bitter with a sweet malty base, alcohol is very well hidden. Medium body with average carbonation and a dry hopy finish. Very nice IIPA, not sure about the freshness though. kable (1), Washington, USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2009 22oz bottle.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Oct 30, 2009 A very fine example of the PNW Double IPA. Lots of hops in the aroma, big citrus hop flavor and loads of smooth bitterness is balanced nicely by malty sweetness. Very drinkable from the lighter body but the high ABV makes it dangerous. This is what a IIPA was meant to be, a great balance of hops, malt, and alcohol. bozoNZ (488), Christchurch, New Zealand

A luscious citrus pine in ya face hop aroma, its taken me 3/4 of the bottle to get this far. Damm ratebeer, dont you wish you could drink it without having to think abt it! Anyway, this is mothers milk - such well balanced warmth and sweetness in the palate, resinous well balanced citrus smorgasboard - nothing dominates, just a fine equalibrilum of all things US Cascade. Oh the sweetness - devine...!!!xxxxx brenn79 (162), Idaho, USA

At 8.8% alcohol this beer is smooth, mellow, sweet, and I almost forgot, hoppy. megrut (7), Chicago, Illinois, USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 7, 2009 I love this beer, especially on cask! Very citrusy aroma, cloudy orange color. Bitter hop bite (which is not as strong on cask) with a citrus/fruit finish. Very drinkable for a beer this strong. cstuartj (305), Washington, USA
