| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a murky orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and fruits. Flavor of nice fruity notes (most citrus but also some tropical fruits and apple) and light hops in the finish. Nicely balanced. This is what a IIPA should be like! Not too sweet/bitter/syrupy at all!! Excellent IIPA. fredandboboflo (1404), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Aroma first of grassy and floral hops, grapefruit starts to come in as it warms, some alcohol, maybe an off metallic note in there, but far from dominant or anything. Flavor pretty sweet with malt with the hops sort of playing the balancing role, but don’t get me wrong, they’re still evident. Pretty good, maybe just a bit sweet/syrupy, but again, nothing at all oppressive. Hophead22 (1088), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA

Pours a rich amber to honey color with a lasting nice beige head. Semi-cloudy. Smell is floral, and very much like fruity iced tea with some hops. Perhaps crystal malt? Tastes like sweet tea with some hops and a squeeze of lemon. Very sweet tea like flavorwise, and the hops are milder than I would have expected. Nice. Sparky27 (1588), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 26, 2008 Bomber courtesy of bvc. Pours a cloudy dark amber with a creamy 2 finger off-white head that results in great lacing. Nose is floral hops and light pine. Taste is toffee, tangerine, earthy hops and a tart grapefruit finish. Medium mouth feel. Decent DIPA. Thanks Brandon! kenb (1100), Oregon, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 24, 2008 22 oz bottle via Hagen. Pours a semi-hazy amber with a medium size head. Nose is full of floral resiny hops....grapefruit, lemon, and pine. Tastes like it smells with some fruity esters and some orange..is all about the hops though. Body is light for an IIPA...sort of reminds me of Hop Slam in that aspect. Carbonation is just right. This one is very well done, quite hoppy without being too bitter or astringent, just the way i like! Reid (1089), Salem, Oregon, USA

Very nicely hopped aroma..mainlly citrus aromas, some alt in the back ground, nice and fresh.
Taste is very nicely hopped, citric in style , but oddly orange peel flavours..like a good darker breakfast marmalade. Strong malt backbone to this..long lasting bitter after taste.
Nice on the palate..quite thick and satisfying.
Overall a good drink..one of the more balalced DIPAs I have encountered. anders37 (4607), Malmö, Sweden
