The nose is pineapple and soft, with a touch of caramel. The body is a bit thin, and the flavor is a bit light. Not a very flavorful or aromatic IIPA. Decent beer, but too many others more accesible and just better. presario (2956), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 23, 2008 Hazy dark amber body. The aroma was strong grapefruit with some grassy notes. There was also some bread crust. The taste was more strong grapefruit and some bread crust. Walnuts also came into play. Decent, but nothing here impressed me. GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 22, 2008 22oz bottle. Not sure who brought this one, but thank you. Probably pepsican. Poured a hazy medium orange color with a white head. Pleasant and varied aroma reminiscent of a bowl of fresh fruit. I smelled mango, orange, subdued grapefruit, pear, and pineapple. There was also a whiff of malty caramel. Slightly sweet up front with moderate hop bitterness (6 out of 10) and a dry finish. Body was on the lighter end of the spectrum, particularly for a double IPA. The flavor was not as nice as the aroma with only light citrus fruit and some caramel. Kind of a weak malt backbone and not as much hop flavor as I had anticipated from the aroma. That said, though, it was a pretty good beer in the grand scheme of things. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 15, 2008 Foggy amber with a fleeting white head. Nice aroma of floral and citrus hops. Medium body and smooth. Nice taste is fresh floral/citrus hops with some lightly sweet pale bready malts. Nicely bitter finish. This bottle had a fresh from the brewery taste to it. Very easy drinking 8.8% beer here. Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA

Dominating aroma of fresh citrus, some pine. Tastes clean, earthy, and citrusy. Very well balanced, and delicious. No doubt the Tricerahops would be one badass herbivore. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 10, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy orange copper with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh grapefruity hops and good undertones of sweet pale malt. Body starts fairly full and caramely sweet with a good resiny hoppy balance. A nice imperial IPA.
