Hazy amber color. Fairly leafy with some cotton candy notes, but I found the mouth a bit too sweet for my liking. Finish was OK, but lacked bitterness I like in IIPAs. Overall OK, but not great.

Very bitter, nice citrus hop profile. Good sweet carmel body helps mellow the hop and ABV, overall really good. Definetly worth drinking when on tap.

Very yummie. A strong hop and malt flavor, but not so over powering to get bitter beer face. There was something else going on flavor wise that I couldn’t quite put my finger on, but it was for the good, not bad.

Bomber courtesy of Secret Santa Summer ’09. Rather mild, sweet citrus malt aroma that was somewhat rather flat. Copper body with off-white head. Flavor was sweet, somewhat chewy citrus. Was a little flat at times but enough flavor to keep you interested in drinking the entire bomber. Alright on the palate but just didn’t have that overall aroma of most IIPA’s. Thanks Buckeye Boy.

Bottle thanks to BA’s Mikeandi.. Pours cloudy orange copper with a fluffy white head and lots of floaties.. Citrus sweetness and some caramel... Flavor is citrus with a little sweetness, I didn’t think it was very bitter.. Low carbonation.

22oz. Bottle: Pungent aroma of hops, pine, skunk, hop oil, resin, grass, light herbs, grapefruit, and a hint of pale malts. Poured orange/amber in color with a small, dense, lightly creamy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is heavily bitter and slightly sweet. Tastes of hops, pine, skunk, hop juice, light grass, slight grapefruit, slight pale malts, slight resin, and a hint of bubblegum. Medium to full body. Oily, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Hops, slight resin, hop oil, light sugar, and slight bubblegum finish is lightly dry. 9%ABV is totally hidden.

IBGF 2009: Amber hue with golden highlights, solid frothy head and nice lace. The aroma has notes of mango and tangerines, grassy and herbal hops, biscuity and crystal malts, and once again a mineral vapour. The taste is even fruitier than the Domination IPA with a yeasty and somewhat salty note. Astringent metallic finish but quickly covered up by the lingering fruity and hop spice qualities. The mouth feel is soft and chewy with a very dry metallic finish. A solid brew overall but not the hop bomb I expected from the PNW.

From a bomber I got at Sam’s in Chicago ’bout 6 weeks ago. Poured with a nice off-white head and some lace. Color is a medium hazy amber. Aroma is a really nice caramel and hop. Flavor is much more interesting: not as sweet as the nose suggests; a little dry up front and a sweetish finish. There’s a little fruit in there - citrus and maybe a little crisp pear. Body is good too - almost a champagne carbonation, full effervescence, not thin, but not heavy. Great American IPA finish. Very good beer. Don’t pick up the alcohol.
