Flagship Series. Tricerahops is double everything you already love in an IPA. More hops, more malt body and a higher gravity define this Double India Pale Ale. Fiercely flavorful, guaranteed to satisfy.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2015 From a 650ml bottle on 22/12/2015 (early Xmas present from my lovely spouse). Pours a deep golden with a medium head. The nose is quite subdued for a DIPA and does not scream hops - just some light fruit a hint of alcohol. The flavour is pretty basic and straight forward, with sweet malts (caramel and biscuit) and some sweet citrus fruit. There’s some bitterness in there but it comes across a bit stale and lacking the character of a typical hop bomb, Has a reasonably full body and mild carbonation. Overall, this is very disappointing. I could name a raft of standard IPAs that give this an absolute arse kicking in terms of hop profile.

Resiny aromas, citrusy, woodsy. Clear amber-copper with a mosty lasting, small, white head. Pretty bitter, fruity, tangerine, resiny. Medium-full bodied, sticky.

Bomber from Beer Run.

First of all, what Kinz said.

Clear copper, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of bright lemon, melon, herbal hops, toasted malts. The taste is mango, grapefruit, lemon, lime, pith, pale malts, hint of mint. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness.

Glad that this semi-legendary brewery is sending stuff out this way now. Growler fill from the Short Pump Growlers to Go. Pours a medium orange gold, nice head. Aroma of biscuity, crackery malt and citrus, pine, tropical hops. Flavor matched. Great balance. Very well done.

Faint smell - a bit of hops and sweetness. Pours a copper color, with little head but long-lasting lacing. Taste is a bit of citrus and grapefruit with a malt body. Not as sweet tasting as I thought it might be from the smell. The back end has a decent resin taste. Pretty good. I think I like the other Ninkasi IPA better. This is one to remember when I eat Thai (as I am having trouble finding a good IPA out West that I feel complements as some of my favorite Midwest/East IPAs. I would buy again.

Rating #1351 04.12.2014 On tap @underground_edm Pours a darker amber, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is citrusy, grapefruit predominant. Taste is a bold punch of sweet grapefruit notes, lots of body, lots of bitterness that lingers. Fantastic.
