Tricerahops is double everything you already love in an IPA. More hops, more malt body and a higher gravity define this Double India Pale Ale. Fiercely flavorful, guaranteed to satisfy.

12 ounce bottle, no bottling date that I could find. Served in a DFH IPA glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy orange/amber color with about an inch off-white head that stayed around for a little while. Thereís also a good amount of lacing. The brew smells like citrusy (tropical fruit, candied oranges) and piney hops, and some bready and caramel malt. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but thereís also some grapefruit and melon noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. This was given to me from one of my friends, nice of him to give me a bottle! Itís worth picking up if youíve never had it before, glad I got to try it.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Boulder Liquor Mart. Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Pretty spicy nose, some resin, gooey-like acetone note along with a little citrus. Smells bad. Highly bitter, chalky, flavor. Lots of booze. Some red apple and chemicals. This bottle is certainly bad. LeninCat rated this a 3/5 ... no palate!

powerful hoppy beer. tasted some citrus with some pine tree. Hoppy taste is too strong, but thatís a part of the deal with a double IPA

Very good offering. 12 oz bottle. pours a very nice amber color with a nice frothy top. no real strong aroma, like a hoppy start which isnít there. Taste is very solid, nice hops with a slight malt blend. slight citrus taste. good beer. definitely worth a purchase.

Aroma: Melon-like fruit, floral. Light malt aroma: sweet, cereal. Kind of a fresh wood aroma, something like that.
Flavor: Melon, citrus peel, floral hops. Some hop spice and resin. Gets sweet in the finish, but itís well-balanced with a sharp bitterness. Subtle tart aftertaste.

Other than aroma we hit a home run here. Malty sweet light hop bite with solid double slap. Abv slap also. Thus just fix your aroma and you have an amazing brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a bomber, into a New Belgium chalice. Hazy copper- golden with a medium off white head. Nose is sweet malty, little pine, ripe citrus and melon. Taste is well balanced, sweet, with a bitter finish.

12oz bottle: This one pours a hazy dark golden color. There was about a finger of a light tan head on it. Nice nose. Not overly hoppy, pine and floral with some malts in the background. Some lacing. The taste is good. Fairly bitter with some malt sweetness in the background. Some orange and grapefruit flavors. Good malt body. Well balanced. A keeper.
