Flagship Series. Tricerahops is double everything you already love in an IPA. More hops, more malt body and a higher gravity define this Double India Pale Ale. Fiercely flavorful, guaranteed to satisfy.

22 oz. bottle from dbsdelight- thanks, Dan! I then brought this up a week later and shared it at The Royale’s Tuesday night beer showcase. Pours a clear gold-amber color with a small white head. Aroma of pale and caramel malts, earthy hops, muddled citrus, grass, straw, sugar, and yeast. Flavor of grassy wet hops, straw, leaves, sweet malts, citrus, and fruit juice. Medium-bodied, with soft carbonation and a malty mouthfeel. Good DIPA.

One of the most drinkable double IPAs I have ever had. Grapefruity and not very malty. I had it on tap at The Sushi Bar in McCall, but now get it in bombers at the same place. A showcase of bright citrus hops and just enough malt to take the edge off.

The bomber says 8.8% abv (not the 9.0 listed here). Large caramel, earthy resin, dirty orange, mango and grapefruit aroma. Flavor is the same big, juicy mix, with some raw honeycomb, tea leaf, light toasted nut and cocoa. Foggy orange-amber and light-medium bodied, with a lasting creamy top of bubbles and nice lacing. Smoothly carbonated and well-balanced with a long wooden finish that makes you want to gulp more.
