Easy hoppy finish that stays on the palate for some time. Some dark and light colored solid yeast grains at the bottom of the glass. Very nice double IPA. I will come back to her. leems (147), Portland, Oregon, USA

Flavor is the same but with a hint of malt and a tiny bit of alcohol. This is very drinkable for the bigness of it, something I return to again and again. darn1207 (554), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Pours a golden amber color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is grapefruit and sweet malt all the way through. A little soapy, a little medicinal, a little bit woodsy. Not great, not terrible. chadje (130), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2009 Tap at Sasquatch beer festival, first beer I had so feel comfortable rating it. It was a nice light amger color with a good head. Smells of sweet citrus and very hoppy, nice. One of the better dbl IPA I have had. Brought a 22oz bottle home to drink later. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Orange amber color with a diminished white head. Aromas of citric peel, pale malt, and a touch of floor cleaner. Toasted malt start. Oranges and ruby red grapefruit middle. Makes me think about grilled oranges. A bit too citric for me. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2009 Hopbomb style double IPA. Pour grapefruit with lots of white soapy head, leaving traces of lace, greater the later in the bottle. Gets better later in the bottle. Earthy and hop aroma, and it tastes most natural and earthy up front. Drinkable stuff, but this is an assault of hops melange, malted down to get it down. Not the greatest of the style. Creaminess making it all the more palatable.
