Cask poured into Imperial Pint glass. Pours a hazy glowing golden with a finger of frothy, frothy white head that last forever. Aroma is resinous citrus and piney hops with a touch of caramel malt. The bouquet is just amazing on this beer. The Flavor is identical to the aroma but with a long last sweetness and a pleasant bitterness. Its medium-bodied and just a touch sticky. Very delicious beer and extremely smooth on cask.

22oz bomber: Appearance is amber brown with slow fading white head, aroma had a nice bit of hops with some caramel malt, flavor had a little to much caramel good amount of hops but not enough for a IIPA but still came together to make a pretty good beer.

Very tasty! The hops were great and the combination of flavors was very balanced.

Courtesy of fishingnet. Pours deep gold with off white head. The aroma is grapefruit, spice hops and nice layer of sugar sweet malts. The taste has a ton of hoppiness with grapefruit, orange peel and thick citrus juiciness. Midway the sweet sugar malts show up and remain a minor note under the load of hoppiness. It ends with lingering grapefruit hops mixing with orange juice, tangelo and just the right level of malty sweetness to bring it all together.

Bottle, courtesy fishingnet. Copper pour, hazy, some particles, frothy white head, some lacing. Some citrus in the nose, some funky flowers, pine. Dry spicy grainy flavors, citrus, some flowers and acidity. Medium-bodied, balanced and drinkable.

i’m a little sick, but i can’t detect much of an aroma from this brew, but i know that I can smell a little hops and fruit (a little disappointing...). pours cloudy and brownish orange, and pours as though it was viscous. has a strange flavor. a little salty and fermented tasting, and I’m seeing how previous raters tasted a soy sauce flavor. its noticeably hoppy, but like the aroma, there’s not much flavor aside from that which is also disappointing. It tastes good though, just underwhelming. Also, it’s definitely thicker than most IPA’s, which is one plus to me. I like it but I wish there was more to it.

second time i’ve had this, first time i thought it had a strange soy saucy flavor in the middle there. smells hoppy with a bready aroma as well. pours a little thinner than one would expect. taste is a little hops up front then the soy sauce caramel thing which i’m not the biggest fan of and then fruity hops. overall i thought this was too sweet and fruity to be as good as people talk about it. a good ale in the end though.

A very good IIPA courtesy of Mr. Stitch. Aroma and taste were very good. All hops with a malty backbone that doesn’t try to be equal. Pour was a medium gold with lots of bubbles and a one finger off white head. Taste was mostly bitter grapefruit hops with some thin earthiness and a dry aftertaste. Decent carbonation and very drinkable for a 9% beer.
