4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly hazy golden orange color with a nice 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Some good spotty lacing on the glass. Aromas of big orange zest, grapefruit, pineapple, floral, pine, caramel, honey, bread, and a decent bit of alcohol. Some pretty good aromas, with good strength and balance. Taste of huge orange, pineapple, grapefruit, pine, floral, caramel, honey, bread, and herbal spiciness. Decent amount of spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of orange, pineapple, grapefruit, floral, pine, caramel, honey, and herbal on the finish for a good bit. Great citrus flavor balance with piney bitterness. Maltiness is slightly stronger. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a nice creamy and slightly slick mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming after the finish noticed. Quite smooth to drink but is still a bit of a sipper. Overall this is a great DIPA! Great hop flavor balance and smoothness; and extremely enjoyable to sip on.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (1 pint 6 FL OZ) Clear, light amber, thick white head. Massive floral, citrus and pine lift. Classic west coast pale. Is there malt? Looks like hop juice. Dry to off dry. Not sour but bitter like old Australian tea or your mothernlaw. Dense and long but another example of bitter, malty hop juice. Flavor should not mean up drinkable. Iíll score if it for the style but these guys donít understand texture.
IBU race for no reason.

Definitely a hop beast. Lived the 100 IBUs! Full flavor with some fruit notes in the aftertaste.

100 IBU's. Tasted in a frozen pint. Deep copper color. Somewhat thick head for an ipa. Definitely a hoppy brew, yet surprisingly smooth for such a high IBU rating. Decent aftertaste. I will say it's better cold for sure. Once the pint adjust to room temp, the beer's flavor is less appealing. Definitely would drink again, and will. Ninkasi has a great brew program going. This is another solid entry.

22oz bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar, pours orange amber with some lacing. Grapefruit is the first thing that stands out inthe nose, followed by a soft mix of malts and pine. Good balance of citrus, malts and bitterness. Malt lasts into the finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a medium orange with small off white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, sweet malts, caramel, and maybe a little tropical fruits. Taste is similar to the aroma with the addition of some stone fruits, and more sweet malts. has a medium full body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, moderately bitter, medium long finish. Overall, a pretty good, well balanced and drinkable DIPA .

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Orangy amber in color with little head from the pour. When I swirled heavily in my snifter, a creamy white head developed but dissipated quickly. Aroma is mostly malty, with grapefruit and slight piney notes as well. Grapefruit really comes out in the taste. Grapefruit, pine, some kind of spice (coriander maybe), a bubblegum kind of sweetness, a nice bite from the hops, and something else... I canít quite put my finger on the taste. Itís a touch off, but this beer is super fresh. Picked up from the brewery less than two weeks ago. It hides the booziness fairly well. but there is still a fair amount of the 8.8% shining through. The mouthfeel is sticky. This beer sticks to your tongue, cheeks, and lips like thin honey; and lingers on the palate for a good minute after you take each and every sip. From what my buddy Eduardo said about Ninkasi, and what Iíve read from them, I was really hoping this beer was going to live up to the hype. Good, but no where near great.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice soft citrus elements to this beer, hoppy but not overly bitter. Orange/amber with creamy head, lots of sticky lacing. Grapefruit aroma with taste following the citrus notes and accented with some tangy hops and caramel malt. Well done!

Tap. Copper. Nice white head and good lacing. Alcohol pine aroma. Starts bitter, then sweet alcohol, and clean finish. Very tasty, even if it could be a bit more complex.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Cannery Row brewing Company The Oregon ale poured a cloudy amber with a wispy head that dissipated. The nose detected citrus and resin hop aroma. The medium body had soft to average carbonation. The 100 IBU is high but bitterness did not seem that high. The finish had some sweet caramel and solid bitterness of a good D/IPA. We had a great waitress Alice who knew her ales.
