3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. An amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy giving it strong notes of grass as well as lighter notes of grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of citrus, hops, and grass. It is slightly acidic from the hops too, which makes it very refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled (thanks KK!). Ambery golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some mild earthy and herbal notes as well. Also some bready and mildly sweet maltyness gives a nice balance to it. Flavour is fruity, floral and quuite herbal with some biscuits, bready and caramelly notes. Big sweet malty and fruity finish. Hides the alcohol well and is actually very pleasantly balanced for being a double IPA!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from DeLaurenti, Pike Market, Seattle
Cloudy light amber color; medium to small head. Some aroma of piney and fruity hops, and puke. Good body, not chewy, with a round mouthfeel; quite good malt and toffee flavor; the hops provide a mix of resins, fruits and manure character. Long final bitterness.
Solid, powerful, flawless; but it doesn’t provide fresh emotions.
