22 oz bottle. Pours a dark orange amber with with thick fluffy head. Aroma is sweet citrus and just a hint of pine hops. Taste is light caramel sweetness, though not syrupy, followed by immediate punchy bitterness. Body could be heavier for this style. Hops are big, citrusy and a little juicy. Bitterness lingers through the finish. If I remember correctly, this was the first Ninkasi I ever had, way back when they only made this, Total Domination, and Believer. Total Dom is the standout, very well balanced... this needs a bit more malt and body to match the best DIPAs.

Bottle thanks to kyle. Pours with a clear copper hued body with a lasting off-white head. Aromas are sweet, cantaloupe, floral, estery, honey, grapefruit, lightly faded hops. Flavors are very bitter and also sweet. Biscuity and caramel malt with floral hops. A bit citrusy. Seems to have more of an East Coast IPA profile than a West Coast. Astringently bitter finish. Fuller bodied and medium alcohol warmth.

Deliciously full flavored Double IPA. Very hoppy. Beautiful amber body with nice head.

22oz bottle from Local 360, Seattle, WA. Pours a cloudy medium orange with minimal white head. Pulpy orange citrus aroma. Very juicy, tart, fresh squeezed orange juice flavor. Bitter soft yeast flavor on finish. Really good flavor at first then kind of trips and falls off. Fairly flat mouthfeel and pretty dry finish. Similar to orange juice mixed with bitter medicine...like a cocktail gone wrong. Alright, but not going to seek it out again.

Tap: orange amber pour with thin off-white head. Aroma is light with a floral tangerine. Flavor is hoppy with citrus, grapefruit, light pine, grass, and a bit of caramel. Surprisingly light for an iipa with minimal bitterness yet lots of flavor.

Hazy light amber with head, a bit of lace. Earth, citrus, pine on the nose. Flavour is more of the same, a bit thin, bitterness is not too harsh and lasts a while. Some sweetness to the finish. I warmed to it, feels like a prototypical NW IPA.

Opaque yellow orange, foamy off white head settles and fades quickly. Powerful pine and citrusy fruity hop aroma. Aggressively hopped, citrus fruits, pine and herbal notes, nicely balanced with a big caramel malt presence. Softly carbed, medium-full bodied. Long dry bitter finish. Very good. Pours amber with a small off-white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is sweet (raisins, blueberries) and hoppy. Hoppy flavor with grape notes. There is also a distinct alcohol flavor, but it’s not overpowering. A solid D.I.P.A.
