Somewhat cloudy medium orange-gold with a very thin, fine, white head. Fruity, grainy malt aromas with peachy yellow stonefruit hops notes and a slight grassiness. Flavor begins dry with a burst of dark hops flavors and fruit--more stonefruit--along with orange. Malt sweetness follows with some grain flavors. The body is firm but graceful and finishes with some grain flavors and a bit of alcohol warmth. Taverner (893), San Ramon, California, USA

SECOND ANALYSIS: Just got ahold of a fresh bottle. This has a hop profile reminiscent of Uberhoppy, but a little less. Very balanced, very floral and very fresh and green tasting. Ibrew2or3 (2848), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 24, 2009 Courtesy of fishingnet. Pours deep gold with off white head. The aroma is grapefruit, spice hops and nice layer of sugar sweet malts. The taste has a ton of hoppiness with grapefruit, orange peel and thick citrus juiciness. Midway the sweet sugar malts show up and remain a minor note under the load of hoppiness. It ends with lingering grapefruit hops mixing with orange juice, tangelo and just the right level of malty sweetness to bring it all together. kenb (1101), Oregon, USA

Nose is full of floral resiny hops....grapefruit, lemon, and pine. Tastes like it smells with some fruity esters and some orange..is all about the hops though. Body is light for an IIPA...sort of reminds me of Hop Slam in that aspect. Carbonation is just right. This one is very well done, quite hoppy without being too bitter or astringent, just the way i like! Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA

Dominating aroma of fresh citrus, some pine. Tastes clean, earthy, and citrusy. Very well balanced, and delicious. No doubt the Tricerahops would be one badass herbivore. carruthm (1187), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Frothy head leading behind some clumpy lacing. Pours a clear golden color. Aroma is a bouquet of hops, heavy on grapefuirt and floral. Loads of cascade usage perhaps? Nice citrus touch on the hop taste flagging into a well balanced bitter end, all with a solid enough malt backing to avoid it seeming like just hop water. Really nice body and does not feel its 9% weight at all. High marks. golubj (1301), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Amber pour, with a little white head. Aroma is mandarin oranges, citrus hops, and some sweet malt. Flavor is the same, both sweet and biscuity malt, lots of nice mandarin orange flavor, and some more resinous bittering hops. Pretty delicious beer. snakeoilpete (324), Seattle, Washington, USA
