COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A delicious Oatmeal Stout with just enough hops to balance the copious quantities of dark roasted malts, oatmeal for a creamy smooth drinkability, and whole vanilla beans for a rich complexity.

Pours pitch black with a creamy tan head. Aroma smells a little of roasted malts, vanilla, and oatmeal. Taste is malty sweet with a sight bitterness to balance it out. Medium to full body, good carbonation, and smooth on the palate. Overall a really good beer.

On tap at revo. First pint of keg. Smooth beer with enough carb. Creamy, deep flavorful roast, oats, dry, almost tricked into coffee but it ainít there, wonderfully workable level of bitterness, appealing sweetness, vanilla, unknown fruit, probably the most enjoyable Ninkasi beer Iíve had and Iíve pretty much sworn off buying them. This one was a purchase based on a terribly uninspiring selection. Ha - that was complimentary.

On draft. Black with one finger tan head. Coffee, chocolate and vanilla aroma. Roasted malt and vanilla on the flavor. This was a pretty good oatmeal stout.

22 oz bottle pours dark and thick with a big tan head. Aroma is vanilla, coffee, chocolate and smoke. Taste is similar with a creamy texture. Smooth and enjoyable. Tasty stout!

Bottle. Dark pour with a big mocha head. Vanilla, coffee, oats. Slight bitter and acidic medium body. Good carbonation. Hides the alcohol level well. Vanilla flavor is strong but the refreshing carbonation and slight bitterness balance out the vanilla well

Very dark pour with a thin darkish tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and the expected chocolate/coffee. Vanilla in the nose, powerful vanilla on the tongue. Dark and lovely as every stout should be, modest bitterness, but the vanilla is really strong and the overall effect is unbalanced.

Bomber thanks to Emily. Appearance: finger tan head that does not last but as a film, dark brown, opaque, good lacing. Aroma: chocolate, coffee, light vanilla, light licorice. Palate: full body, soft carbonation, alcohol finish, oily texture. Taste: sweet chocolate with licorice undertones and vanilla present as well, into coffee that goes bitter, with vanilla still lasting underneath. Super smooth, very enjoyable, slightly cloying with the vanilla.
