A delicious Oatmeal Stout with just enough hops to balance the copious quantities of dark roasted malts, oatmeal for a creamy smooth drinkability, and whole vanilla beans for a rich complexity.

Nice brew!! Pours a dark almost opaque black with a creamy beige head. The nose is bursting with vanilla beans as well as roasty malts, nutty notes and a ton of chocolate. Creamy and rich with a complex mid palate. Vanilla bean galore with espresso and milky chocolate notes. The finish has a bit of bitterness but else is a smooth, creamy and rich stout.

Bomber. And a bit sweet, vanilla notes. Very dark brown color, ruby highlights on edge, beige head doesn’t linger. Very smooth drinking, oatmeal & vanilla pair beautifully. Not too sweet, nice roasty taste, but not too much. Med to full mouthfeel. Overall a delicious, easy drinking beer. Could drink all night!

Awesome stout. A lighter one with nice roasted malt and chocolate flavours. The oatmeal and vanilla add a really smooth, creamy finish.

22 oz bottle poured into a nonic pint glass. Black with some brown hues around the edges and two fingers of nice frothy tan head. Aromas of vanilla, dark chocolate, caramel, sweet coffee and maybe a hint of dark fruit. Tastes of dark chocolate, vanilla, roasty notes, sweet mocha. Medium-full body with a dry finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Delicious.

22oz bomber, from a 4 bomber 4 pack, pours with a nice deep dark mahogany body that supports a thin mocha head. The aroma offers up malty sweet dark roasted malts and then modest sweet vanilla,  chocolate, brownie, a dash of molasses and booze. The taste is sweet with malts, some molasses, malt sweetened chocolate and then thin ribbons of dark roasted to burnt malts. Behind those notes murmurs a modest degree of smooth sweet vanilla. Solid brew that is a bit on the sweet side.

On tap at MacGregor’s. Roasted malt aroma with chocolate and vanilla notes. Pours black with a good light brown head with good retention and excellent lacing. Nice roasted and chocolate malt flavors that meld well. Finishes very smooth with vanilla notes coming through. Excellent stout.
