Pours a dark thick with heavy tan long-lasting head. Aroma malt, coffee, caramel, and maybe a touch of vanilla. Medium body and carbonation with smooth mouth-feel. Like someone else said, it’s like a roasty cream soda. Bittersweet chocolate and long roasty finish. Very satisfying.

2.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
AROMA: Very simple here, vanilla, chocolate, and oats, but it smells really good!
APPEARANCE: Pretty typical here for a stout, black, with a nice little mocha colored head that goes quickly
TASTE: WOAH! This is excessively hopped with buttering hops! Besides the bitterness, the taste follows the smell exactly. If this beer wasn’t so bitter it would have an immense amount of potential to be very good.
PALATE: Very light, leaves your mouth dry, very uncharacteristic like of a stout
OVERALL: Needs less buttering hops, just way too much for a stout, stouts are supposed to be on the sweeter side, not the bitter side

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not sure about this one. I feel like the body is too thin to hold such strong flavors. Good complex vanilla, oat, chocolate, stouty flavors but the flat brew doesn’t do them justice like it should.
