3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a pitch black color with a tan head that leaves spotty soapy looking lacing. Smells of roasted malt, chocolate, oatmeal and slight vanilla. Tastes of the same things in the smell but the vanilla is more noticeable in the taste. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy and slightly chewy with decent carbonation. Overall its just as good as the original oatis maybe slightly better since vanilla is added and its well blended unlike what the last reviewer said.

From a bottle. Pours thick and black, tan head, sweet vanilla aroma, mild coffee and chocolate flavours with a mild vanilla finish. Fantastic stuff.

This is a good beer, has a hint of sweetness, roasted malt, good vanilla taste , bitter chocolate taste. Dark brown color, light brown head. Could use a little more ABV, but I do like this one.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear deep brown with half inch of large-ish bubbles that nonetheless linger. Aromas chocolate, vanilla, toast. Tons of vanilla once you take a sip. Vanilla ice cream even. Very silky mouthfeel, from the oatmeal I assume. Ever so slight bit of tartness that provides some balance to the sweet. Alcohol undetectable. Very tasty and approachable.

Dark, orange highlights, clear. Nice lacing. Quite smoky nose, and yes, vanilla. Palate is good, full. Taste is very similar to nose, smoky, vanilla, along with burnt malt. Very interesting I liked it and it seemed quite original.

Nice brew!! Pours a dark almost opaque black with a creamy beige head. The nose is bursting with vanilla beans as well as roasty malts, nutty notes and a ton of chocolate. Creamy and rich with a complex mid palate. Vanilla bean galore with espresso and milky chocolate notes. The finish has a bit of bitterness but else is a smooth, creamy and rich stout.

On draft. Was on a vacation and didn’t take notes. Only rated the beer and enjoyed the time.

Bomber. And a bit sweet, vanilla notes. Very dark brown color, ruby highlights on edge, beige head doesn’t linger. Very smooth drinking, oatmeal & vanilla pair beautifully. Not too sweet, nice roasty taste, but not too much. Med to full mouthfeel. Overall a delicious, easy drinking beer. Could drink all night!

Awesome stout. A lighter one with nice roasted malt and chocolate flavours. The oatmeal and vanilla add a really smooth, creamy finish.

22 oz bottle poured into a nonic pint glass. Black with some brown hues around the edges and two fingers of nice frothy tan head. Aromas of vanilla, dark chocolate, caramel, sweet coffee and maybe a hint of dark fruit. Tastes of dark chocolate, vanilla, roasty notes, sweet mocha. Medium-full body with a dry finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Delicious.
