3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brown with a 3 finger foamy tan head. Aroma of herbs and burnt malt. Med body. Flavor is exceptionally smooth moderately dark milk chocolate. It is on the non-dry side, so this is very much like drinking dessert. Smooth burnt malts. Vanilla accents the chocolate - which seems to make it "milk chocolate". Delicious.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, shared with Grippitis and Parksy. Dark brown, beige head. Sweet aroma of vanilla cookie and cocoa. Dark caramel flavour that has more of a cola sweetness than vanilla to me. Alo thin mouthfeel for the listed ABV. Just okay.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22. Pours jet black with a light but dense and creamy pale tan head. Lots of spotty lace. Big sweet nose, showing plenty of chocolate and vanilla, along with darkly roasted caramel malt sweetness. Vanilla foremost. Creamy thick body with sluggish carb. Vanilla, then chocolate, then roastiness, the darkly toasted caramel on the mid palate. Minimal hop presence. Long sweet vanilla finish. Nice sweeter stout.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Black, thin to moderate frothy tannish head, nice lacing.   Moderately roasty on the nose.   Faint vanilla and coffee on the nose.   Smooth roasted malts on the tongue, vanilla comes out on the finish.
Very light in that aspect.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Light roasted malts, a touch of vanilla on the finish.   Not the depth or body I was hoping for, but still good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of rich roasted malt upfront, with dry cocoa and subtle hints of vanilla in back. Flavour brings out extremely potent notes of vanilla, which dominate everything, with subtle notes of cocoa and roast in the back. The vanilla is rather overburdening, with a tad too much sweetness. Light mouthfeel, but potency flavoured. Good, but I prefer the original Oatis.
