4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle in Lethbridge. Aroma was dominated by super dark chocolate chocolate and coffee. It was super dark, a latte coloured head. The taste was vanilla and chocolate but I also detected some anise as well. I think that might have been because of the hops, a tinge of bitterness with played well with the dark chocolate elements. I wish I could have this again.

Bottle, found at LA liquor store. I found that the hops was overpowering but did appreciate the lingering dark cocoa flavors.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bottle shared with Headbanger. Color is black with good carbonation and a nice light brown head. Aroma is roasted malts and hint of vanilla in the back. It has a full with a lighter and smooth mouth feel. Flavor is lightly roasted with just a touch of coffee and chocolate. In the after taste a bit of bitterness show with a just a hint of vanilla. Overall its an easy drinking light stout, was hoping the vanilla showed a little more.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a dark brown almost black with a two finger khaki head that left a lot of lacing around the glass. The aroma was dark roasted malts, some chocolate, and maybe some faint vanilla. The vanilla is much more pronounced the in the flavor than the aroma. You also pick up the dark roasted malts and some chocolate. The mouthfeel is light to medium and quite smooth.
