COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A delicious Oatmeal Stout with just enough hops to balance the copious quantities of dark roasted malts, oatmeal for a creamy smooth drinkability, and whole vanilla beans for a rich complexity.

Bottle. Deep brown/black body with a thick, beige head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/slick texture, moderate carbonation. Taste of bitter dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, char, tart cherry.

Opaque black with creamy tan head. Full body with medium high carbonation.

Aroma: charred malt, acetone, nutty oats, toasted grain

Taste: sweet charred malt, leafy hops, brown malt, burnt caramel.

Rather boring overall, and a little bitting.

Bomber. Pours a dark blackness, tan head that fades to an oyster, little lacing. Good medium aroma, good & oat-y with just a hint of vanilla. Taste is really quite good, vanilla is there and blends with grains for a more-complex-than-usual stout. Aftertaste is bitter, not too long or strong. Highly recommended.

Really nice oatmeal stout. The nose is big vanilla and toasty oats. The taste is soft vanilla up front, roasted malts and oats with some bittersweet chocolate in the middle, and a bit more hop in the finish than I would like but not overly so. Little carb. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’ place. Thanks Excellent Little Brother for the delivery! Black with an off-white head. Vanilla and roasty, a little nutty with some hints of sesame and halva in the nose, lots of vanilla and coconut, sweet and round in the mouth. Full body, robust, long chocolate and vanilla finish, no carbonation.

Ninkasi Vanilla Oatis - bomber from The Bottle Shop in Seoul. A similar reddish black pour. The nose is a nice vanilla, like a pastry brioche. Medium-light bodied, the tasty is roasty chocolate & vanilla with some oats notes. Quite good.

Very nice stuff. Black pour with great mocha head. Roast and lots of vanilla. Some chocolate and oatmeal. Bittersweet finish. Thick consistency. Good balance, and good beer all around. Tap at Glen’s.
