Dec 20, 2006 Draught @ Kerstbierfestival 2006 in Essen, BE. Dark brown color with a light brown head. Aroma of malt, chocolate and hops. Flavor is sweet with a nice balance of bitternes from the chocolate and hops.

Dec 17, 2006 Draught Little head, yellowish rim; jet-black beer. Very little nose, just some liquorice-tinted malts. Liquorice in the taste again, but not the real sweet variety; slight sweetness and faintly smokey in the background. Finish is rubbery with intensified liquorice. Quite thin, ending slick. A bit thin for its aim, slightly disappointing, but no faults.
