That has a very nice color and does not really smell of jalapenos. You as soon as you take a sip the pepper flavor comes out and hits the back of your throat. It has a very nice body. And the pepper really accents it. I would actually buy a six pack of this.

On tap at Richmond Arms. Pours a cloudy orange gold with medium white creamy head. The aroma is spice and floral. Thin mouthfeel with a spicy hop and wheat with a lingering spicey finish. Jalapeno flavor comes out the more you drink it. An interesting spiced brew from No Label.

On tap at BTBF. The smell is of course peppers, appetizer like, chiles, vegetable, and sweetness. The look is cloudy, has an off white head, and golden in color. The taste is some heat from the jalapenos, chilies, veggies, and ok.

Bottle.
As far as hot pepper beers go, this one hits it. Nose is smoky jalepeno, flavor follows suit. Average mouthfeel. Nice beer for what it is.

Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of bread and jalapenos. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a warming finish. Flavors of bread and jalapewnos with a crisp warming lingering jalapeno finish.

Hazy golden color, off-white head. Earthy-sweet pepper up front, underlying dry, biscuity malt, but mostly Jalepeno. Not overly hot, but pepper dominates.

The one thing that stood out to me the most about this beer is how much jalapeño meat came through in the flavor. Alot of times, with pepper beers that is, you get a decent amount of capsaicin coating the lips and throat for a delicious burn, but you don’t always get much flavor from the actual pepper itself. Most of the time it depends on the style and the varieties of pepper used. And, in my opinion, when a brewer makes a lighter-bodied ale it’s sometimes awkwardly balanced. I think this turned out very well-balanced. The body itself is not too light, and not too heavy, but just thick enough to support both the flavor of the pepper flesh and the effects of the spice. There’s no doubt that the jalapeños are the featured ingredient, and they take front stage. Nothing’s getting in their way, but rather complimenting. A strong, but comfortable burn hits the throat first, and only after a third of the bottle does the burn hit the lips. And when it does it seems to do so simultaneously with an almost crystallized sugar-type sweetness. Although it’s incredibly easy to drink, I wouldn’t suggest drinking more than one of these at a time. The meaty thickness of the peppers is persistent, and although it’s somewhat light-bodied, it does weigh you down. Besides... those of us that have to watch our acid intake should always remember the rule of moderation.
