COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hefeweizen with Light body, well balanced between malt and hops. Very refreshing. Named after the boss of the house...yeah the real boss.

Bottled: unk Hazed gold with mirror surface, not really good looking for a hefe. Smell is banana mostly, sweet malts, touch of yeasty clay. Flavor is grain, wheat, sweet, some clove. Medium on light bodied with higher carb and a wet finish. Overall a not very good beer, needs more body with a better look and more complexity from the yeast. Nose is okay, could use a little more yeast character like the Hefe’s I’ve had in Germany.

An okay hefe with a surprising amount of alcohol. Sweet, lots of wheat and a little bit of lemon.

A yeasty and clove aroma combined with nods to bananas and citrus. A voluminous frothy, mostly lasting white head, resulting from a vigorous pour, presents itself atop a hazy light yellow pour. Moderate lacing coats the glass. The taste acknowledges the holy trinity of Hefewiezens, yeast, bananas, and cloves. Also present are hints of wheat/grain and citrus. Medium body soft carbonation. The mouthfeel is creamy with just a touch of crispness in the finish. Overall, this is a decent example of a Hefewienzen that I would drink again.

Bottle:   Yellowish straw, slight haze, little sudsy white head, no lacing.   Yeasty nose, a little bubble gum and banana.   Wheaty up front, but void of much of what I smelled before.   Still remains yeasty/doughy.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Has a weird white grape finish, or something like white wine.   Pretty simple, interesting nose, but pretty boring on the tongue.   Thanks Bill!

I hope and pray that I got a bad bottle. This tastes like it expired on the mid 90’s I will try again but as for now I am not overly pleased.

Its almost too sweet for a hefeweizen no head retention or lacing. An off yellow color and sweet smell

From bottle. Pours slightly cloudy but very light and clear for a heff. Taste is also very crisp and clear. Not as spicy or malty and very light mouthfeel and body. Not the best example if text heff but perfect for a hot Texas BBQ I'm at. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from trade with crajun. Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a small fizzy head that quickly fades. Aroma is mostly banana with some wheat and lemon zest. Taste is ok. Bananas and lemon zest mostly. Fizzy carbonation. Tastes a little old, not sure how old the bottle is.

Sampled at Fort Worth Untapped. Poured a hazy golden-orange color with a thin white top that vanished all to quickly. Clove, banana, wheat, zesty. Medium carbonation, thin-medium body.
