2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a surprisingly clear golden color with a white head. Nose opens up smelling more like a generic wheat beer. Some bread and straw notes and a bit of citrus peel. There is a touch of banana to it, however. The flavor is somewhat bitter for a hefeweizen. Lots of citrus peel, light banana, and some sweet bread and malt flavor. A touch of cardboard and very mild spice notes.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Yellowish straw, slight haze, little sudsy white head, no lacing.   Yeasty nose, a little bubble gum and banana.   Wheaty up front, but void of much of what I smelled before.   Still remains yeasty/doughy.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Has a weird white grape finish, or something like white wine.   Pretty simple, interesting nose, but pretty boring on the tongue.   Thanks Bill!
