Bottle at RBWG. Pours clear brown with a faint, beige film. Earthy aroma, some dirty cocoa. Medium sweet flavor, some milky chocolate, mild earthy bitterness, dirt, toasty malts. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweet finish, further earthy bitterness, bittersweet cocoa. Good stuff on the whole.

Dark brown pour with a tan head. Nose of roasted malt, cocoa, and some lactose. Metallic, a bit of dark fruit, and some coffee. The flavor is kind of acidic, metallic, and mildly bitter. Roasted malt, coffee, and cocoa powder. Mild lactose sweetness and dark fruits.

355mL floating around at Kickbacks for RBWG JAX. Pours a clear cola ruby. Weaker head. Nose is coffee, praline, hazelnut, vanilla. Taste is clean, light lemon, dessert like hazelnut and praline. Surprisingly good.

(Draught) deep brown with light tan bubbles. Nose of milk chocolate, creamy cocoa. Taste of cream, cocoa, easy drinking, a bit of raisin with creamy cocoa linger. Nice beer.

2/24/12. On tap during RBWG 2012. Black pour with a small brown head. Smooth aroma with sweet chocolates and a touch of roast. Nice smooth flavor as well with plenty of milk chocolate and touches of roast. Quite nice

Black color with tan sheen. Chocolate, lactose, coffee aromas. medium body with soft co2. Sweet milk chocolate, lactose flavors with some dark roast maltage--good.

On tap at Onion Creek. Pours a near black with a light brown head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has a good amount of lactose with milk chocolate and a bit of backing roast. Flavor has notes of sweet chocolate with a decent amount of roasted malt.

Tap @ the Whip-In, after breakfast .. . deep brown .. is quite sweet, but not overly .. . good roast level .. quite tasty .. a well done beer from no label
.. . . the guy was really surprised, he said ’fuck me’ quite a few times, but after about the 5th time, he started making everyone feel pretty uncomfortable..
