3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle in an English pint. Pours very dark brown with a lacy, tan head. Aroma of roasted and chocolate malts, light lactose, hints of metal, and light hops. Flavor the same, with the metallic notes sort of ruining this. Average texture. Not great.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark, may as well be black, with a generous frothy tan head. Sweet, dark malty aroma. Drunken at room temp, this beer is delicious and spot on. It has a very bitter, I.e. delicious, beginning, coffee, roasted malt, lactose, and chocolate sugar flavor. In spite of all this awesomeness, it carries a medium body.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2013 Pours black with tan head. Aroma has dark roast and subtle chocolate in the end. Flavor has notible dark roasted grain and dark chocolate, semi-sweet. Mouthfeel is medium-heavy body, kinda thin, low-medium carbonation. Overall, not bad.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at petrol station. Pours a dark brown with a small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is a roasted malt and chocolate. Thin mouthfeel with sweet roast and chocolate with the milk in the finish. Easy to drink a good sweet stout from No Label.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours dense pitch black color with a nice 2 finger dense dark tan head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big dark chocolate, caramel, toffee, butterscotch, cocoa, vanilla, cream, roasted malt, coffee, and light toast. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of sweet dark malt notes; quite unique as well. Taste of dark chocolate, caramel, toffee, butterscotch, cocoa, vanilla, cream, roasted malt, coffee, and light toast. No bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of dark chocolate, caramel, toffee, butterscotch, cocoa, vanilla, cream, roasted malt, and coffee on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of sweet dark malt flavors; with zero cloying sweetness present after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very creamy, slick, and lightly syrupy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice milk stout! Great balance and robustness of sweet dark malt flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark -- duh, it’s a stout. Chocolate milk, roasted malt, a hint of fruit and caramel. Good stuff.
