2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 mmmbeer (1154) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 28, 2013
12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a transparent light orange/yellow color with copper shading, minimal white head formed with a white ring around the glass- very minimal lacing. Aroma of faint hops and grass. Hits the mouth with a light medium body, malt wasn’t saturated in caramel, middle has a small hop cresent, finish is muted with a small amount of acidity. Reminds me of an old IPA instead of an APA.

Bottle from Central Market. Pours a dark red color with a white layer of head. Aroma is light hops, grains and sweet fruity notes. Flavor is grainy, quite bitter and hoppy. Dry notes with a bitter finish.

Well, this pale ale has a little saucy bite to it. The hops aren’t quite as smooth as I’d really like them to be. Hazy with a nice light copper color. Hints of caramel and straw taste. A little grassy with a herb-like aftertaste.
Fairly light mouthfeel - you shouldn’t chew on a pale ale, but it goes down a little too easy. I’m going to finish this one, but it might be a better beer to pair with some food.
I’ve had other No Label beers and this is not their strongest.

Poured up a light amber with small head that rapidly died out to a thin lace. Smells of citrus hops. Slight maltiness with a very strong hop flavor. Slightly bitter, very citrus and herbish, mild dry finish. Decent enough I would be willing to get more when it goes on sale.

Bottle. Pours an average amber with a nice head. Aroma is matzoh bread, saltine crackers, and alfalfa. Flavor is a cracker-heavy malt with a grainy, almost rustic bread taste. Average mouthfeel. Very interesting flavor.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with beige head. Aroma is earthy, grassy, a little nutty, some light fruit esters. Flavor is much the same with a earthy bitter, dry. Thin, watery mouthfeel with high carbonation.

Not the fairest test since I drank it from the bottle at a party. Grassy floral aroma. Taste is similar with some grapefruit bitterness but overall very mild.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 legion242 (1999) - Richardson, Texas, USA - OCT 7, 2012
Poured a pale, pale yellow with little head. Nose was very faint. Overall a very pedestrian effort and not worth trying again.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Tejas (800) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Yuck! Tastes like a bar of soap. Zero head and zero lacing. I’ll add Draught > Flying Saucer just to get to 75 characters.
