1.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pours a dark amber, hazy, with initially quite a bit of foam, then falls to a etched surface of the same almond colored goods. Smells of tea, malt, some oxidation. Flavor is terribly oxidized, lots of cardboard, wood, some more tea, some grass clippings and yeast. Medium bodied with moderate on low carb and a dry finish. Sometimes I get a hint of astringency. I don’t care for this one.

Murky brown into a tulip glass with a thin beige head the quickly disappears. Aroma of yeast and sweet malt. Light body with a fair amount of hop bitterness. Finishes a little dry. Not bad but not that good either.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 7/20
Malt forward aroma with hints of caramel. Pours a cloudy maghogany with a white ring and no lacing. The taste is malty - notes of caramel, grass/hay, fruit, and soft bitter finish. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, I liked this beer. Would make a nice change of pace session beer. Will drink again.

This brew pours a clear amber color with a medium thin foamy white head that dissipates steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and mild hops. Light to medium body with flavors of sweet caramel malt, hops and a touch of citrus. The finish is sweet with a roasted malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Aroma reminds me of a mixture of Budweiser and soap. Reddish with a head that quickly dissipates. I don’t normally like bitter beers, but this beer has a slight bitterness that grows on you...makes my mouth water. After another smell, I almost feel like taking a shower with it.
