Bottle. Pours a clear darker copper orange with small light brown foam head. Aroma is caramel dominated, taste is more bitter dominated. Interesting combination and more so interesting aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At five percent good mouthfeel and good profile. Very strong chocolate malt flavor for a pale ale. Makes it pretty unique. At first bitter but balances out. Good carb but quick fading head. Malt for sure. Light malt aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sweet caramel on the nose with deep roasted caramel coloring and a light toffee, quickly dissipating head, this pleasant sweetness is round with deep roasted notes and just a hint of chocolate. Smooth but effervescent mouthfeel would make this an especially lovely beer for a cool but not et cold fall afternoon anywhere that perpetual summer is not in bloom. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bought this because I have always loved Rhodesian Ridgebacks, solid beer though. Nice nutty malt flavor, finish is sweet, great beer would buy again

12 oz bottle. Poured an unfiltered dark amber with a thin white top. Taste of caramel malts, toffee, bitter floral finish. Medium-high fizzy carbonation, medium body.

Pleasant tasting enough, nice color for an amber, but frankly I just like the dog on the label, being a current Ridgeback fan.

Decent beer with some roasted bitter notes. We love ridgeback dogs but the makers should learn to spell "tones" correctly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours dark brown, Slight white head, dissipates to a thin film and retains that. Aroma is sweet malts, toasty oats, a little pecan, a real nutty aroma. Taste is hay, toasted nuts, sweet malts. No hops to speak of. Just an OK beer.

harrymel (1496) - Spokane, Washington, USA - JAN 1, 2014
Bottled: unk Pours a dark amber, hazy, with initially quite a bit of foam, then falls to a etched surface of the same almond colored goods. Smells of tea, malt, some oxidation. Flavor is terribly oxidized, lots of cardboard, wood, some more tea, some grass clippings and yeast. Medium bodied with moderate on low carb and a dry finish. Sometimes I get a hint of astringency. I don’t care for this one.

Murky brown into a tulip glass with a thin beige head the quickly disappears. Aroma of yeast and sweet malt. Light body with a fair amount of hop bitterness. Finishes a little dry. Not bad but not that good either.
