Bred right here in the Fair City, this Expo-sized IPA is made from hops and barley harvested within 300 miles of the No-Li Brewhouse. Washington’s own Cascade, Columbus and Chinook hops span across 2 row malt from Armstrong, BC.

(Bottle). Big and slightly sweet fragrance of tropical fruits, raisins, pine and spices. Rich taste of hops combined with flavors of sweet overripe fruit and raisins. I like the clear and strong hop flavors that well balances the sweet flavors in the beer.

Bottle thanks to Tim. Pours a clear orange with small frothy white head. The aroma is pine, hemp, resin. Medium mouthfeel with sweet malt and light bitter pine. Good.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. The aroma is oxidized hops, cardboard, caramel. The flavor is caramel, oxidized hops, grassy, vegetal, chocolate in the finish. This is terrible. Looks like an amber ale, super sweet and caramely.

12oz bottle pours with a near clear copper body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up some citrus, a bit of spicy hops and a sense of raspberry. The taste starts with a pleasing mix of hop flavor coming from slices of sweetened pink grapefruit, some spicy dank hops, floral hops and then a firm pine hop bitterness. The pine takes over midway and then toward the finish with a complimentary resiny hop edge. It slides into the finish with quickly fading hop bitterness leaving a well-rounded and balanced taste to ponder into the after taste. Nice brew.

Nice, nice, nice. Pours a reddish gold with a small white ring and good lacing. Aroma is piney and earthy hops and sweet toffee malts. Taste is a great bouquet of resiny pine and a small floral hops. Toffee and dank, just great.

Brick coloured with a bold bubbling head of an inch. A great IPA with the sweet stench of grapefruit, tangerine, toffee and toast. Monstrously flavourful with bitter hops, citrus sours and some balancing act sweetness from the malts. Sadly a one time drink for me as I am so far away from this old gal now.

22 oz Bomber. Tasted on 5/27/14. Beer from Total Wine & More. The aroma has some citrus, resin & pine. The taste is smooth with a medium body, followed by a nice medium bitter finish. Overall all a very good IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An excellent example of a NW IPA. Deep amber with thick, fluffy beige head. Heady aroma of malt first, then hops. Hops take over on taste, smooth bitterness, slightly dry finish, All the way around a great example of how IPA should be done.

From 12oz bottle to tulip. Pour is a very robust amber with a thick light tan head. Nose is super hoppy, earthy, citrus, floral, some malt character. Taste is very bitter, medium-heavy bodied. Finishes a bit harsh but still a really nice beer. Just picked these guys up at my distributor, excited to have them.
