COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, bold copper-colored ale showcases Munich & Crystal malts to create a big supportive body on which we layer our favorite Washington hops. Chinook & Cascade provide citrus and piney flavors, while Northern Brewer adds a hint of mint. Dry-hopping with Cascade and Columbus increases the beer’s hoppy aromas. Malt, hops and yeast-derived fruitiness combine to create our most complex offering.

22 oz Bomber. Tasted on 5/27/14. Beer from Total Wine & More. The aroma has some citrus, resin & pine. The taste is smooth with a medium body, followed by a nice medium bitter finish. Overall all a very good IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An excellent example of a NW IPA. Deep amber with thick, fluffy beige head. Heady aroma of malt first, then hops. Hops take over on taste, smooth bitterness, slightly dry finish, All the way around a great example of how IPA should be done.

From 12oz bottle to tulip. Pour is a very robust amber with a thick light tan head. Nose is super hoppy, earthy, citrus, floral, some malt character. Taste is very bitter, medium-heavy bodied. Finishes a bit harsh but still a really nice beer. Just picked these guys up at my distributor, excited to have them.

Aroma- Big grapefruit and pine over rich caramel. Nice notes of tropical fruits. Taste- Sweet orange and tropical fruits up front, followed by big caramel, big pine and grapefruit rind. Sweet, slightly boozy, and resinous finish. Tropical fruits became more pronounced as it warmed. Overall- Big, well balanced aromas and flavors. The more it warmed, the better it became. I especially liked the caramel backbone mixing with the tropical fruits, but all the flavors played together well. I would definitely have again.

Tasted on tap at Schlafly Bottleworks, a guest tap leftover from the Repeal of Prohibition Festival. Orange amber colour with weak white foam. Intense American hoppy notes with a little English Northern Brewer snuck-in. Aroma was more enjoyable than flavour, which seemed a little coarse, less smooth than some of the other IPAs in a side-by-side trial. Mellow caramelly malts, a little residual sweetness to balance the bitterness, low-medium body
