COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, bold copper-colored ale showcases Munich & Crystal malts to create a big supportive body on which we layer our favorite Washington hops. Chinook & Cascade provide citrus and piney flavors, while Northern Brewer adds a hint of mint. Dry-hopping with Cascade and Columbus increases the beerís hoppy aromas. Malt, hops and yeast-derived fruitiness combine to create our most complex offering.

moderate off white head with good retention and a coating, sticky lace.Clear, amber/copper hued brew. Nose is leafy, earthy and lightly citrusy, notes of caramel malt too. Body is medium, lil oily, lil chewy. A malt forward IPA, caramel and a not so menacing hop bill that seems to work out well. Little citrus and pine with some decent earthy notes as well. Fairly dry finish, enjoyable.Bomber from statelineliquors.

Bottle from GBBF 2014. Poured a clear ruby, with a dense white head. Aroma of grapefruit, brown sugar and rich fruit. Pine needles in the flavour, with some grain and bitter peal. Finish was big, bitter resin, chewy malt and tinned fruit.

650ml bomber pours a pale amber color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with some hints of caramel. Taste is a bold grapefruit and pine hop bitterness balanced nicely with a big caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. A well balanced flavorful IPA that I recommend to others.

Bottle shared on the 76 year old drinking shelf thanks to James F, IOW Jolly Day, 24/08/14. Clear golden amber with a well appointed light beige covering. Nose is pine, caramel malt, bitter hops, orange pith, tangerine, sprucey wood. Taste comprises pine, bitter orange, straw, grapefruit, nice piney streak. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Decent enough IPA.

Bottle. Light hazy orange with a small off white head. Citrus, cheese, honey, flowery, caramel, light toffee. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, medium sweet and bitter. Light dry and bitter finish with citrus notes. Drinkable but not overly interesting.

Sparkling clear copper with thin head. Aroma is malt-forward with lots of toffee, cereal. Hops are mostly about bitterness rather than aroma. They do contribute some pine and resin that linger in the finish. Almost like an "american strong ale" in a lot of ways. Bracingly bitter.

Hazy deep amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and crispy. Light malt base with very light toffee, not that sweet. Little dry cream. Hops are a light spicy pine with mild marmalade and tropical fruits. Light dry finish. Mild piney linger. Not all IPAs have to be malt neutral and this one isnít. Nice balance of flavours.

Bottle shared by James on the wibbly-wobbly above ground tube during the IoW Jolly... It pours clear orange-amber with a small white head. The nose is bitter-sweet orange, orange, Irn Bru, mango, candied peel and light florals. The taste is crisp, bitter, alcohol, woody, pine, resinous, Irn Bru, citrus and light toffee with a very dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. More malty than I would have preferred, but decent enough anyhow.

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Clear reddish orange amber lasting thick creamy beige head. Certainly piney resiny on the aroma. Lots of hops. malts are there to balance though. Some caramel sweetness. Itís a decent American IPA. Bit too sweet for me. And the hoppiness is more bitterness than fruit or flowery. Burntness. So itís a toffee sweet bitter ipa. OK, but the hops arenít very forward on this.

Bottle picked up at GBBF 2014. Pours a lightly hazy darkish amber with an off white head. Nice overripe fruit, funky veg, dank hop aroma - caramel, orange and lemon too. Medium body, medium carbonation. Pine, lemon, light caramel, orange, woody resin, toast, light caramel... Big woody, grapefruit bitterness. Nice balance. Dry and tasty.

Not shabby. A golden-amber brew with a soft, white head and an onslaught of foam coating the sides of the glass as I swallow. The bitter is a little hard and lasting, resiny but with the citrus and floral balancing the taste. The experience is average, body and finish being very moderate and the texture median; however the carbonation is nice, giving this beer and itís brewery, a bullish and optimistic outlook. (That was fun).
