This big, bold copper-colored ale showcases Munich & Crystal malts to create a big supportive body on which we layer our favorite Washington hops. Chinook & Cascade provide citrus and piney flavors, while Northern Brewer adds a hint of mint. Dry-hopping with Cascade and Columbus increases the beer’s hoppy aromas. Malt, hops and yeast-derived fruitiness combine to create our most complex offering.

Bottle - Compliments of Indiana_Red’s wife - Semi clear gold with a white head. Hoppy aroma with a off beat citrusy flavor and solid hop bitterness on the trailer. Pretty good.

Slightly hazy deep orange golden soapy persistent off-white head. Mild hoppy aromas and flavors. A mx of citrus and floral piney nites. Good all-around IPA. Not very big in any category but decent in all

Bold Amber orange with a off-white head. Citrus fruit and pine in the aroma with a background malt sweetness. Comes across rather bitter to begin with. The malt really seems to reign in the hop profile. Has a slightly rusty feeling to it. Finish is a long on the bitterness and short on flavor. Decent and different.

Bottle. Copper with a light tan head. Malt forward with a piney hop presence that builds with every sip. Caramel, biscuits, bread crust, citrus and floral notes pop up. Very good overall.

Poured from a 22. Aroma is hoppy and floral. Flavor is smooth, slightly biscuit and citrus. Nothing too overpowering here. Finish has a bit of a bite to it. Overall easy drinking beer!

Darker than expected, copper coloured with golden head. Aroma is resin, pine, grapefruit and caramel sweetness. Taste is good, earthy bitterness, caramel maltiness, bit of citrus and grass at the end and maybe slightly nutty. Bitter finish leaves a pleasant tingle on the tongue. Very nice!

Appearance is a hazy orange amber supporting a healthy steady head leaving collared lace. Smell is sweet with citrus with a piney aroma. Taste is hop forward of the malt having that piney grapefruit with the sweetness of the malt. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Makes for a nice IPA offering.

Pours slightly hazy pale amber with a fat finger of rocky light beige head, good retention and excellent lacing. (5/5) Nose is pithy grapefruit, caramel malt, pine resin, apricot and other fruit, hint of honey. (8/10) Taste is medium sweet, strong bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, slick and mildly warming finish. (4/5) An upstart of an IPA with a DIPA attitude. Hops and malt trade places with alternating sips, but it’s all citrus and piney bitterness in the finish, with just a mild warming from the moderately beefy ABV. Some might consider it a hop bomb at 85IBU, but for me it’s a solid and well-built performer, with emphatic but not overwhelming bitterness. I might be being a little generous here, but not by a lot. (15/20)
