Jaune brumeux avec une petite robe blanche. L’arôme est du pin et agrumes. En bouche c’est d’abord un peu sucré puis une amertume forte avec une finition assez sec. Très bonne.

22oz bomber from HBT trade. Drank after work with Tom and Brian. Pours a clear orange color with small foamt white head. Aroma of caramel malt, old citrus, marzipan, and some floral hops. Taste of pine, rotted citrus zest, caramel malt, and grass. Don’t see a bottled on date. Seems a little past its prime perhaps.

Bottle to snifter, thick honey-gold pour with top-notch head retention. Aroma is huge; sticky passion fruit, a viscous Simcoe pine, sugar, over-ripe fruit, an indescribable prickly earth against the sweetness. Smells so familiar yet can’t put a name to it. Taste is a massive and round citrus with a sticky, sappy pine. Fairly big mouthfeel, borderline raisiny, even some barleywine notes picked up. Strawberry hints linger among the resinous finish. Very interesting!!

Really good dipa from the northwest. Seems to exhibit more pungent characteristics from SoCal with less emphasis on the malt. Easy drinker with a solid kick. 2nd beer I’ve tried form this brewery and it did not disappoint. Spokane is weird. They have naked coffee drive thrus all over the place. Just thought I’d add that in case you’re ever in the area and need a cup of Yawn Be Gone. Anyway, great beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of floral and lightly fruity/citrusy hops, some pale and light caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same but sort of bitter. Average texture. A decent imperial IPA, but not like the East Coast examples of the style I love.
