Poured from bomber into snifter, typical DIPA/IIPA color, clear, but with sediment aplenty. Aroma is a bit bitter in a chemical way, taste matches with a soapy aftertaste. I have to say I am a bit disappointed but still enjoying it.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orangish gold with a decent head and aromas of resin and dankness. Flavor is mostly based around this combination over a honey sweet malt presence. A very solid beer in spite of not really blowing my hair back with a new take on the style.

Hops dominate, as expected. Nice amber body with creamy head. Hops are smooth, piney, some buttery taste. Dry bitter finish.

Gold pour with a white head. Piney, bitter, florals, dry malts. Easy palate, bitter, dough, florals, pine, not much else.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a slightly hazy semi orange/somewhat amber colored body with yellow highlights to help to make it fairly clear, thin white half finger foamy head that dies immediately leaving some adequate foamy sticky lacing in its wake. The smell had some coconut in the beginning (not sure where I’m gettin’ that, but that’s what I truly got) and after it warms a bit toasted piney caramel plays in my nose. The taste was somewhat bitter but still sweet through the malty bill that comes through, sticky caramel aftertaste, dry caramel finish. On the palate, it sat about a medium in body, fairly sessionable - pretty much as any DIPA could be, carbonated very well for the style. Overall, I say a pretty well done DIPA from No-Li, shout out to Breeze - In for gettin’ this in growler fills.

Good retention and good lacing. Smells of grapefruit, sweet malt, hop resin and lemon. Tastes of hop resin, grapefruit and pine. Light bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I love IPAs. Especially doubles. This is BY FAR the best double IPA that I’ve ever had. Light malt body. Riddled with citrusy notes and a grapefruit flavor.

Bottle pour dark gold. Nose citrus hop up front, some dank hop, then late in aroma a very sweet powdery malt, almost like powdered donuts. Taste bitter up front, followed by dank and alcohol. Late palate vague sweetness. Astringnet bitter finish.

Bottle, shared with Grippitis and Parksy. Orange amber, off white head. Caramel malt and pithy citrus share the palate equally, ending with astringent bitterness. Nothing shines here, not to mention that the hops seem a bit lacking for a DIPA. Wouldn’t come back to this one, given that there are about a million West Coast DIPAs out there, this one is pretty forgettable.

22oz bottle, mustard yellow label. Light amber color, rocky white foam. Aroma of hops resin, some caramel malts. Flavor is of sweet bready caramel malts. Well balanced with earthy hops. Finishes with hints of chocolate and flavor of honey. Creamy texture. (3981)

From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Grassy, smoky nose. Flavors of pine resin and citrus. Medium bodied, bitter finish.
