Bomber. Unclear brownish orange, firm lasting off-white foam. Pungent pine citrus c-malt aroma. More potent than bitter, earthy woody fruity citrus hop taste, deep darker caramel malt, spicy floral herbal evergreen notes. Average carbonation, full bodied, aggressively hopped. Big bold bad boy. Bottle from lucky 12. Pours hazy golden with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a lot of earthy notes, pine needles, citrus is pungent. The taste has a ton of tropical fruit, quite sweet. Little bitterness.

Bottle: Golden peach color with a thin, creamy white head. The nose isn’t as intense as what I’d expect from an IBU bomb, but the citrus and tropical fruit comes together nicely. Soft and inviting. Good hop flavors throughout; citrus, pine, and tropical fruits. Potent and strong, but not overly hot or bitter.

Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - OCT 20, 2014
Serving: Bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours amber with a lively off white head. The nose has robust herbal hop notes. Those herbals translate to the palate with a bit of cotton candy. Medium bodied with a medium finish. Pretty good.

From 12oz bottle to snifter. Pour is a nice golden orange with a medium white head. Nose is big hop, malt, caramel, dark fruits. Taste is medium bodied, very bitter with slight touches of sweetness. Thicker feel with a little carbonated finish. Nice imperial.

Poured a medium amber with a lively, lacy head. Nose of flowers. In the mouth, the alcohol is well hidden, but nicely hoppy.

Tap @ The Dam Bar & Grill: clear gold color with a small head and semi- sticky lacing. Earthy pleasant aroma with a solid hoppy backbone. Alcohol is masked well. Tasty and well done.

650ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a small finger of lacing that settles to reveal only a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with some caramel. Taste is a bold grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with some tropical fruit and caramel malty sweetness underneath. A well crafted and potent DIPA that is definitely recommended.
