3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy dark yellow with a tall, off white head.
Big hop aroma of citrus and pine resin.
The flavor is firmly bitter from start to the finish with malt sweetness that supports but doesn’t become sticky sweet like some IIPAs.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured a medium amber with a lively, lacy head. Nose of flowers. In the mouth, the alcohol is well hidden, but nicely hoppy.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap @ The Dam Bar & Grill: clear gold color with a small head and semi- sticky lacing. Earthy pleasant aroma with a solid hoppy backbone. Alcohol is masked well. Tasty and well done.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a small finger of lacing that settles to reveal only a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with some caramel. Taste is a bold grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with some tropical fruit and caramel malty sweetness underneath. A well crafted and potent DIPA that is definitely recommended.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
7/18/14. Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a minimal head and lacing. Light hoppy nose. Taste definitely points up the source of the high IBUs. Interesting and complex hop profile barely held in check by the alcohol level.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Strong hoppy aroma and taste. The taste of hops left no room for additional flavor. Bite of bitterness at the end.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Sweet orange malt and strong alcohol/acetone aroma. Hazy amber with small head. Sweet orange/peach malt and light bitter herbal orange peel flavor. Thankfully doesn’t taste nearly as harsh as the aroma.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle - thanks Brian! Pours hazy orange with a large off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly with decent lacing. Aroma is caramel, spruce, cardboard. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, buttery. Medium body, a bit harsh. Nondescript.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a nice goldenrod color, some head, not much lacing. Aroma is mainly strong citrus hops, with some floral notes as well. Flavor is deliciously bitter hops up front with a good malt backbone. The palate is perfect for an imperial IPA, with a bit more thickness than a standard IPA. Overall this is a great beer, and I look forward to having a couple more!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
22 oz bottle on sale (old) at Coconuts. Cloudy darker orange appearance with a fluffy, lingering, sticky white head. Aroma of pine, resinous hops, citrus fruit, toasted grains and light toffee. Flavor is medium to heavy resiny bitterness and light grainy sweetness. Medium plus body, a little thick and almost syrupy with a somewhat dry, lingering bitter finish. OK, not too fresh of bottle most likely. Hard to drink.
