COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An intriguing spin cycle of English, German and American brewing techniques, Spin Cycle Red is a celebration of the classic English-style ESB. The perfect balance of malt and hops create an enjoyable and quaffable red ale. Spin Cycle’s specialty malts combine to provide an aroma of lightly toasted bread and caramel, while additions of American Noble hops add an herbal flavor for balance.

Bottle. Sweet caramel aroma. Cloudy brown in colour with a small off white head with good lacing. Caramel flavour with some nice balancing citrus hop notes. Thick creamy texture. Very pleasant.

good for a fairly boring style - nutty, earthy aroma with faint citric hops. Taste is toast, earth and citrus, bread and nuts. Easy drinking and pleasant.

Surprisingly enjoyed this. Aroma and flavors were bold, with earthy malts, nuttiness, toasted biscuit and a slight hop bite. Reddish-brown color with a huge foamy head. Weighty and full but not filling.

From a bomber. Pours dark and slightly cloudy with medium head. Aroma is toffee and Carmel as advertised. Finish is on the sweet side with a little bit more malt than hops but one of the better ambers I’ve had.

Tap at DC Hama. Light pepper aromas with some caramel, toasted toffee and pine. Well-balanced on the palate with the caramel malt shining, but the nice peppery hops really stand out on the finish just enough to keep it interesting. Enjoyable.

650ml bottle pours a rich amber color with a 2 finger off-white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and citrus with some herbal or spicy notes. Taste is a citrus and spicy hop bitterness with a caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, this is one of the better brews I have had in this style for a long time. Recommended, as it is quite tasty.

Tastes a lot stronger than it really is. It is one of the more pleasant Ale styles I have had in a while.

(Bottle, as "Crystal Bitter") Reddish amber colour, slightly hazy, with lasting rocky off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of treacle toffee, apricot marmalade, orange peel, red-currant and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, toffee, red fruit and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Gets a bit sweet after a while, but it’s tasty and quite well balanced. Quite nice.
