Bottle: Pours a dark copper color with a finger of creamy beige head. Long lasting head and lots of thick sheet lacing. The nose strikes a balance between a PNW fresh hop ale and barleywine. The fresh floral and spicy hops work well with a sturdy malt base. Lightly spicy finish and some lingering floral bitters. A little sweet, sticky resin too. Kinda like a toned down Arrogant Bastard with an emphasis on the spicy/herbal hops. Enjoyable.

Pours out a hazy brown with some amber topped with a white head. A great malty aroma and a light spice on this one. Tast of hops and more of the thick malts. Not a bad winter brew.

Got on tap at the brewery. Aroma is citrus and fruity. It has a rich dark amber color. Starts with citrus flavors giving way to a hoppy finish.

22. Pours a crystal clear medium brown with toffee colored edges. Loose, slightly creamy grayish head. Very bready nose, like fresh baked brown bread with some molasses in it. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel, brown bread, biscuit, and toast on the mid palate, with a mild piney finish. Never would have guessed anyone would call this an IPA, but its tasty.

The pour is a deep amber color with a moderate, creamy, off-white head which settles to a thin frothy layer and leaves similar lace rings. The nose is pleasant with some candy-like malts, dried apricot, toasty, spicy and resinous hops. The flavor is similar with more resinous hops, still spicy, dried fruit all over, toasted caramel, and subtle earth notes. The palate is lively, less than medium, and velvety. The finish is mostly bitter with dried fruit, lots of resinous and spicy hops, and a toasty finish. A different winter warmer than I usually go for but this was interesting. The candy and dried fruit notes are something I am only used to seeing in much stronger beers (IIPA, BW, etc.), but the malts lacked depth to balance. The beer seemed a bit hollow despite the nice flavors. Decent.
