Wrecking Ball is an intense and delightful jet black stout. Chocolate and roasted barley malt dominate the aroma with fruity flavors to follow. This bittersweet and full-bodied ale comes in at a towering 9.5% alc/vol.

Bottle from New Frontier, Eugene. Pours a very dark brown, lots of tan head. Aroma slightly skunky, roasted grain/resin, coffee. Meh as far as nose goes. Taste is super roasty at first with a resinous finish. 100 IBUs? Not sure why. Underwhelming, would rather have an Old Rasputin.

12oz bottle pours with a nice dark colored body that supports a dark tan head. The aroma offers up a nice load of dark roasted malts and chocolate malts as well as thin slivers of spicy hops. The taste has a pleasing mix of pine hops to slightly citrus hops before it quickly rolls into dark roasted malts, a bit of burnt malts and then a tasty dose of chocolatey goodness. Dang, this is nice.

Bottle shared by Dan. Nose is roasty and light tobacco. Light chocolate. Pour is black with a light brown head. Taste is a very dark chocolate and bitter but just short of sharp.

Pours pitch black with a small light brown head. Smells chocolaty and roasty. Taste is sweet, milk chocolate, hints of dry roast, and hints of woody hops. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, No-Li Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout finishes with a lingering semisweet chocolate tone.
