Bottle... Poured jet black with a thick forming, light brown head. Big roasty notes and dark fruits in the nose. Thick mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Roasty, toasted and charred gains, dark roasted coffee, cocoa, black cherries along with a thick alcohol warmth. Not bad, especially for $5 a bomber. Full, malty finish with molasses notes.

1 Pt. 6 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours black with a huge foamy tan head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma of malts and chocolate but not too strong. Taste is a very nice fruity and chocolate combination, roasted malts, the alcohol is noticeable but not overpowering. It has a nice bitterness to it. Easy on the palate, very drinkable and enjoyable; a good beer overall.

Good to be #10. Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown/black with a 3 finger foamy tan head. Aroma is linoleum paste - not a bad thing - sort of fruity in a dark way with some burnt stuff. Then it goes oatmeal stout with chocolate. Hm. Med body - it’s not at all thick. Flavor is darkly milky chocolate with some fruit, maybe a hint of anise, and a very smooth burnt malt. Heat is not detectable. Except perhaps somewhere down the gullet. It finishes smooth, chocolate and bitter. Deceivingly dangerous!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 That1Guy (1753) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 10, 2013
22 oz bomber split with TheRon. Lovely black pour with a sticky tan head. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate and vanilla, and a bit of squash. The acetaldehyde is there, but it’s not overbearing. Smooth mouthfeel. Dark chocolate dominates the flavor, with a bit more squash, with a slightly boozy finish. Decent brew.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beaver (1077) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 5, 2013
22 oz bottle. Pours dark black brown with a medium creamy brown head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is roasted grains, chocolate and some black licorice.
The flavor is roasted black patent malts, some sweet chocolate, black licorice, vinous alcohol and lots of acidic bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, an OK imperial stout.
