2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Fin (6180) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, - JUL 29, 2010 Bottle from Vale Brewery Shop, Brill, Bucks, 29-07-10 Pours gold good clarity, white head. The aroma is a little sour, some sweetness and malt. but the sourness on the nose is a touch concerning. Taste is better than I was expecting, the sour edge on the nose is thankfully almost absent in the mouth, there is a tiny edge to the fruitiness that is a little sour but I would be nitpicking. Sweet and fruity with a tang to it, bit soft in mouth, little bit of peachiness its just ok but not great. A4 A4 T6 P3 Ov10 2.7

BC. Brilliant gold with an uneven, egg white collar. Softer hop aroma than the CC without the yeasty spike; apricots and cream, bramley apple pie filling, pine needles. Sprucey, limey hop receding into apricot and biscuit. Another tasty, well-conditioned bottle from Nobby’s.

Cask conditioned at The Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Gold with white head. Sourish, fruity beer with a really tarty, jammy background, little hop character left, I will have to re rate if I get a better example.
