Bottle from Co-Op in Oakham, Rutland. Poured a clear amber with a white head that quickly disappeared. Almost no aroma other than the mildest grassy notes. Light cereal flavour with faint hops. Unbalanced bitterness on the palate.

Cask, half at New Oxford Salford. Clear copper coloured body, no head, fragile lacing to the glassware. Smell of leafy hops. Juicy malty taste with a touch of apples. Rounded bittersweet ending. Average (Greater Manchester, 22.01.2013).

Clear medium yellow amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white - off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, toffee, light hoppy, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dusty malt, caramel, light hoppy, thin, citrus notes. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110617]
